The camera resolution wont matter when you record 1080p videos or post pictures on Facebook, which is what most people will use it for, so stop complaining lol
i guess the only way samsung agreed to make this phone was for it downgrade its camera specs so that wont hit its sales of galaxy SII
5/1.3 camera is fine don't make yaht much of a difference the phone over compensates elsewhere I had nexus s the camera at 5 megapixel was is better the some 8 I found. phone incredible in my opinion
I'm buying this for christmas, 5mp camera I could care less, real digital cameras beat phones any day,its slimmer than, faster than, longer battery than the iphone 4s. This is buy for me hopefully t-mobile will be carrying it :-)
There's an error on the posting: the Samsung Galaxy Nexus does not have a microSD slot. You cannot use a microSD card.
5 megapixel camera is really disapointing here. i dont know why samsung did so.....
WTF, 19 Oct 2011is it a joke?new google phone bit with only 5mp cam...WTF!!!they should put 8 or 12mp cam on i... moreyes.. only non technical folks, or those who have no clue about how a digital camera works would. People who "understand" cameras would pick a 5 mega pixel one over the 8 mega pixel camera
Vamspace.in, 19 Oct 20115 MP camera.....is something wrong here???Ok, Its been so many years since people started having digital camera, I still see people complaining about not having a higher mega pixel sensor on a phone. How much longer will it take for people to realize that their complaint only makes sense if it is the other way around, yes more the pixel in the camera the worse it is in quality. Do you see people complaining a 5'9" person weighting less that 200 pounds, your arguments is that absurd. Donot know why I am getting working up on this, but it should be a crime for people to claim ignorance for such a length of time
Slot for MicroSD card now?
That would be the only good news in all this.
5MP and 1.2GHz is really disappointing. Specially the latter.
Please do not judge phone specification before having a look at the device or at least on the review, because the Megapixels of the camera does not mean it makes low quality photo/video - it could be so that this camera makes better photos then a 8mp camera on a phone of course.
Why would you want bigger MP with the same sensor size? Don't fall into the MP race. On the other hand, a xenon flash would have been nice.
all specifications seems good and fine , but at least from my experience quality are not good for Samsung
