AnonD-76360, 18 Oct 2012which is better sony xperia s or samsung galaxy nexus ?Nexus, My dad has got an Xperia S and Ive got a Gnex. When you compare the Gnex has a way better screen than the Xperia S(in the means of color quality)(Super AMOLED Screen). The black on the screen of Nexus blends with the rest of the front side, but on the Xperia S it looks like grey.. The Nexus has a bigger screen too. And the buttons on the Xperia S aren't really good(in my opinion) they aren't easy to touch(sensitive). The led notification light at the bottom looks cool, but the black part with the "XPERIA" text at the bottom is really extra to the device, making it bigger. It also is a little loose that gives you a slight feeling that it is gonna fall off someday. Another aspect, the support, The Galaxy Nexus has really good support by Google, Nexus got Android 4.1 Jellybean update in 24 hours after its release. Also the HUGE community over xda(if you are interested in customization), the number of custom ROMS, Modifications, etc. etc.. From every side Im suggesting the Nexus!
Rosh, 15 Oct 20124.1.2 available in Pakistan since few hours through OTA :)At what price did you get your GN? And what about it's sound quality, i mean loudspeaker and call receiving sound? Is it scratch resistant? How about it's battery?

Samsung Galaxy Nexus is the best android phone to date, and arguably the best phone on the market. While you may have a hard time finding reception in an area with a weak signal, it's pros far outweigh its cons. The screen is sharp and vivid. The camera is fast and capable. It executes tasks without a hint of lag or stuttering. And the phone is light and feels great in the hand. i recommend you nexus because after all its a Google phone. you will keep on getting updates from Google and jellybean wont disapoint you at all.
hi every one, i am planning to buy a mobile and confused between google nexus prime ans sony xperia s, plzz help which is the best in these two....

AnonD-76080, 17 Oct 2012Hey Sri...
can you please elaborate the battery performance so far...i feel like buying it in... moreHey Himansh, I haven't had any major issues w.r.t battery.....
First we need to change our mindset...this is a smartphone and will be running multiple apps all the time....so we should not expect the battery to last for 2 day's:-)
With 100% charge...I see that by the time I go home..it would have drained out ~70%.....
1. All time sync with office mail (I receive ~60-70mails in a day)
2. GMail, FB, Linkedin, Google+
3. Use Flipboard for reading
4. App downloads
5. Calls, SMS's..;-)
I'm my opinion, this is a good pick...
May be you should wait till 29th Oct and see what Google announces...based on which you could pick GN or the next Nexus....
