I want to buy a Samsung sp. I've had Note3 and 8 so I cant imagine using anything rather than the Note series. Note 20 out of option due to my budget. So hows the Note 10+? I'm more concerned with the battery. My current Note 8 got serious problems for yours after updating (2 times charging per day). Is it worth buying a phone introduced 3-4 years ago? Do you know any better option less than 500$

Battery life is all day long for me no issues at all i just wished its had 120hz and it will be perfect : )

Anonymous, 16 Apr 2022I suggest you stick to your 4.0, there's nothing too important about the 4.1, it's... moreIt won't expire because of 4.1 update. I'm on 4.1 and everything running smooth. I agree not a massive difference to 4.0. Yes some are worrying about battery etc. But before 4.0 ppl worried about battery. Even on 3.1.1 worrying about battery and goes down to earlier versions. Ppl have the choice to update or not and that's fine. But keep pausing updates will stop security updates which are important. Anyone who has problems after updating should check thier apps. A rougue app can cause problems. Rebooting once a week is good for battery. Always do wipe cache partition after any update. It take a few days for battery to learn and optimize with the new software..

I suggest you stick to your 4.0, there's nothing too important about the 4.1, it's only going to make the phone expire faster so you go for s22 ultra.

Nearly 10h SOT mostly on WiFi. After every update I process "wipe cache partition". I don't really remember to restart my phone regularly.

Strange both you and your brother are having the same issues. Get in touch with samsung through samsung members and report it. They will help. I hope you get it sorted.

It becomes ans issue when the warning continues afternoon 48hrs with no moisture. That's when it became problematic and no online solutions could help.

But it didnt fix. I did everything, including:
Updating the software to the last version today, reset all settings, camera reset and even Factory data reset. But nothing changed. And it doesn't mean that its only my Note 10+. My Note 10+ and my brothers Note 10+ has the same problem. The night mode doesn't work well at all after the update from Android 11 to 12. It used to capture the picture for 14 seconds at dark places, but it takes only 5 seconds now. And as a result, the picture isn't good. Could anybody help me?
But for those who want to know about this great phone I need to say that its great in anything, including:

But one of my notes had problem with usb port and it wasn't anywhere near water. It had to be replaced. Salt water not good for your phone. I spilled coffee on my note 10 plus. It kept saying moisture in usb port. It was the charging cable. I let it dry overnight. It worked fine next day.

Has anyone had issues with the usb after phone submerged into salt water or any other water. I had issues with mine as the sensor kept warning me of water in usb port when there was bone. Couldn't use the port so took it in for repairs. Entire charging block was replaced. I've had a similar issue with an S8+ but didn't know wht was the issue at the time until it happened on my note. S8+ still have the issue and only charges wirelessly. From what I'm seeing online, it's common issue for Samsung. The water resistance works 100% but there is no warning abt erosion build up after exposure to liquid.

It can take a few days to settle down after an update. Wiping cache partition will help. Rebooting phone once a week keeps battery good. Do you play games on yours?
