Alitaghavi, 19 Apr 2021What do you think about buying Note 20 Ultra and Note 10 plus I want to buy one of them but ... moredepends on your region, if you live anywhere other than South Korea or America, i suggest you look elsewhere (Xiaomi, Realme, Apple etc.) since Exynos chips are not that good, especially the 990 in the Note 20 lineup. The Exynos 990 has been heating up a lot and throttles a lot giving way worse performance than the SD865. but if you do live in the USA or South Korea where you get the Snapdragon chips which are better in every aspect compared to Exynos, then get the Note 20 Ultra because compared to the Note 10+, it has a better camera, faster chipset, better screen, still keeps the microSD slot and has 8K video support and new S-pen with 9ms latency.

I have a problem with my note as the biometric security
lock ( fingerprint & Face I'd ) do not appear most of time
when I try to login the mobile..I tried to remove them and
load them again but also failed to appear.. I installed
luncher also failed...I removed the luncher failed.....Any
help

Bought 21/08/2020. Started heating in 7 months. Stopped powering up in 8 months. No refund or replacement possible. Service centre changed every single part almost in repairs. How dumb is that. I probably have a phone with refurbished parts now.
This - coming from someone who is a loyal Samsung user who has experienced Tab 1, Tab 2, S8, S8 +, Note 8, Note 9 without issues...but this Note 20 Ultra spoils everything.
1/5 rating. Buy at your own risk. Moving to other brands.

That company just fouces more earning profit.
Samsung not cearing of customers.
In pakistan samsung lunch note 20 ultra 8 gb ram and exynous processor.
That's very stupid thinking.
I will not buy any phone of samsung for ever in my life.

I have two options buy... moreDo not by shitty exynos 990 phone ever for even a dollar. It's the worst cpu in human history. I have used S20 exynos 990 and it was the worst thing ever. Later I have bought Hong kong version Note 20 ultra which is snapdragon 865 plus. It is amazing.
No heating like 990, great gaming performance with 90 fps, 120fps in some games, good battery life.
I never buy phones officially in bangladesh, we buy imported phone with 10 days replacement warranty. Most of the people in bangladesh prefer non warranty cheaper phones which easily last for years and years.
Made in India Bangladesh phones are bad. Made in other countries products are great and u never really need a warranty at all.
But if you can't take the risk then go for S21 ultra. 1100 exynos is good and has less heating than snapdragon 888

So i was considering buying the note 20 ultra here in India.
I have two options buy the exynos unit or the snapdragon unit imported from Hong Kong.
Here are issues that i think plague each of these decisions
Exynos..... Bad battery and Thermals
Snapdragon.... Imported unit no warranty..... And will i be able to receive and install software updates???
Pls help in making a decision......

Nothing wrong with the above: a happy customer and a happy company.
What i want to say here it is so sad the headphone jack option is not there.
Nor you, nor Samsung would have any real problem when the 3,5mm jack would be just.. there.
Many other people do have a problem, though, now or they cannot buy the Note (they purchase lower tier device with jack or decide to use laptop or tablet with jack to be productive)
Such a pain Samsung.
This really doesnt look good on you and many people know and feel that!
At least bring a jack in some of your high end devices. Bring back choice:
S30 no jack, Note30 jack.

flagshipper, 04 Apr 2021I came back to Samsung after a 2year affair with Oneplus, Xiaomi, Sony, LG clones. Got Note20U... moreUpdate: battery is great, always good for 2 days. Despite Exynos. No need to panic if forgot to charge overnight.
And yes, Note20 makes better pictures as it can focus. Lol. I took 30 samples from both, and Note20 hardly had problem focusing. Luckily i don't make many pics so I keep the nerdy Ultra with the SD card.
Found XLevel case with 7 gram weight, sweet. Lighter than carbon, for a fraction of price. Wow. Good news to maniac counting every gram, like myself.

I'm very disappointed with camera of this phone, shutter mega slow, focusing weird etc
I bought this phone because of the camera, but its not good at all.. ok it takes great shots day time but which phone doesn't lol
Probably no more Samsung for me, as paid premium got average.

Considering this phone has the pencil, dex, large screen, strong cpu and 12 gb ram it is a very productive phone.
What does that mean?
Simple: people do real work on it while they are on the go.
This is what i want to say, Samsung:
The fact that the device does not got an headphone jack is downright sickening.

I went with the Note 20 Ultra over the S21 Ultra because I wanted a MicroSD card. I didn't even think about whether or not it would have a headphone jack (my phone went in the ocean on vacation, so I had to replace it suddenly).
I didn't even notice the lack of headphone jack until I went to donate plasma and pulled out my wired ear buds.
So, I figured if I'm gonna go wireless I'm gonna get something at least decent. Bought a pair of Samsung Buds Plus. Now that I've had them for a few weeks, I've got no desire to go back to wired headphones. The ear buds sound great, and they work perfectly. Always connecting instantly when I take them out of the case. It's also more convenient to just throw the case into my pocket and pop them out when I wanna use them.

lol the phones are water resistant not waterproof and there is always a chance it could be breached. And they are definitely not made for swimming, The contacts inside the charging port will oxidize. And pool water with Chlorine will destroy the sealant glue.

I mean the Note20 is made from glass, like the S10. And it actually has gorilla glass Victus which is more resistant. Also all flagships are made from a glass sandwich and all will break if you keep dropping it and swimming with it.
No wonder no phone survives with you. You should probably get a CAT or a Trekker phone for your needs.

It's not coming back to the flagships and many people have moved on and accepted it. If the 3.5mm Jack is so important to you buy a A series and just be quiet! Also it have UBC connectors for the Jack so I don't understand the whole issue 😑😑
