[deleted post]I used to connect my previous plastic phone Note 3 to Samsung Mobile WiFi and it only gives 6 hours of battery performance plus another 6 hours with extra battery equals 12 only. Such a pity for a plastic phone. Didn't even reach 18 hours.

What a waste.

Hey you know what? I have the same feeling and going to buy NOTE 5 at the end of the week. Lets hope it will be a blast of a phone. I'm a average user and i think it will fit to my preferences. And its a hell of a good looking phone too. Specially the Silver Titan

Th... moreAnd I already told you that I know Note.5 users who can stretch their battery charge to 3 days by only using their devices only less than 1 hour daily. I know people with older Galaxy Notes who also get 3 days with light use.
I believe you can get "24 hours" with just light usage, not with full brightness, not with LTE on, no gaming, and less than 200mb data. Can you show Screen shots with hours indicated? No, you can't.

Updated to Marshmallow 6.0.1, here are the initial thoughts in the past 48 hrs.
+ Note 5 is even more faster, it's blazing fast now you'll be shocked
+ Fingerprint unlocking is faster, unlocks nearly instantly after pressing the home button
+ Games loading time and performance increased, really I didn't expect that
+ No aggressive RAM management, I opened 11 tabs on Chrome and not one reloaded itself
+ Improved overall performance
- Battery seems to drain a little quicker than before, hopefully an update will fix that
- The photo editor crashed twice, but worked fine on other occasions
- Can't really see Doze saving battery life on standby, but phones need time to optimize apps
ein, 12 Mar 2016For ur info note 6 is a removable battery phone...I doubt, samsung won't return back to plastic phones!
But will return SD card slot & increasing battery capacity & will keep the same design line
Tcool, 12 Mar 2016Note 3 even without using LTE and with extra battery cannot beat Note 5 battery stamina.Sorry reply was for TN
Tcool, 12 Mar 2016Note 3 even without using LTE and with extra battery cannot beat Note 5 battery stamina.Wrong.. able to get 24 hrs with screen time of 4 hrs..with either wifi or mobile data on most of day except 7 to 8 hrs at night.
Even now my battery has dropped to 90 percent with 55 mins of screen time with continuous wifi

The most is 6 hours plus extra battery equals 12 hours, will not even reach 18 hours.

They refuse the testimony of TRUE users and believe comments from non user.
They are not using it and yet have the guts to say absurd things.
Try it first yourself before you conclude!

Removable battery for EXTENDED third-party battery is really what I'm after as I use my Note for heavy LTE download and hotspot. I know guys like me aren't mainstream. But I know I'll slap on a 10000 mAh Zerolemon external juicer as soon as I get the Note 6.
After long thinking My next device will be the Note 5 as the S7 Edge is too expensive now more than note 5 and I love the note series only! To be honest i don't use IR blaster or SD cards at all also the removable batteries are not an issue for me! The design of the device is great & super high quality.. & till now didn't find any review or anybody suffeing from the battery life..So it will replace my note 4 soon with the Silver Titan color :)

As of now, reading the forums I don't see too much issues with battery replacement issues.
For the average user that doesn't think about the costs, they will most likely either settle with a phone that doesn't work and find another one that does until they get it fixed or leave sealed battery phones altogether.
I don't know too many people (including myself) that worry too much about removable batteries. Storage, ya: batteries, no.

How much do battery+labor cost? $100? How many days do you need to wait for the part delivered to the center and next to be worked on? 1 week? Worlds away by just picking up a $25 original extra battery and just replace the degraded one right away.
