AnonD-495544, 01 Mar 2016where is the android m update? come on already! You can expect it only after March 18th (Offical launch S7 & S7 edge in India)
AnonD-489412, 01 Mar 2016Thats what i like about my note edge. The width. Can go on internet and websites and very rare... moreLOL! There are edge screen apps available for Note 5 and S6.
But sad to say Note Edge doesn't support VR which is "the next platform" as mentioned in Samsung MWC 2016.
AnonD-183089, 01 Mar 2016Thanks for the advice i agree with you,, after the release of s7 edge it stopped my plan to ge... more..and after the release of Note 6 you will still look for more and wait for Note 7, but still not satisfied and wait for Note 8, Note 9, Note 10 up to Note 100 until you die without owning a smart phone because of waiting for your perfect phone.

The same price but no S-pen.
I'd rather go for Note 5.

Tcool, 01 Mar 2016I'd rather wait for Note 7, Note 8, Note 9, and so on... LOL!No other phablet really has the same functionality as the Note series as it is the only one equipped with an advanced stylus, waiting for Note6, HOPEFULLY Samsung won't use the crazy 4k display resolution just like the Z5 Premium which resulted in a very bad battery life, 2k is more than enough. It's just a phone why media are speculating a 4k display, Z5 Premium is useless expensive giant device with a lowly battery.
AnonD-367917, 01 Mar 2016SD card doesn't make phone 'lag' more,.. necessarily.
And Blondi1, what you have experience... moreThank you for the help you gave in your comment to me. I found it very informative, easy to follow and easy to understand. Your points about the sd cards in the newer models is true and understandable.I really appreciate your input. Thank you.
Tcool, 01 Mar 2016Go for Huawei Mate 8.Note 5 much better choice.
AnonD-183089, 29 Feb 2016What about the performance after updating to marshmallow and the battery life?!It is really good, it stores more application (RAM MANAGEMENT) than lollipop and with the new DOZE feature the battery performance also is really good, but if you are looking to buy this now, don't. Go for S7 because both are now same price.
Note 6 is 6 month away from now, I expect Samsung to include following: microSD, 4000mah battery, a faster SPEN, IP68, 5.7 or 5.8" with the same footprint as Note5, etc... 8mm thickness is VERY ACCEPTABLE anyday.
AnonD-495544, 01 Mar 2016where is the android m update? come on already!Just around the corner.
I want a phone with a good display ,high performance and good battery life not nessearily a good camera (I have a DSLR) I was thinking of that phone but I heard of ram issues on this phone so what do u recommend?
AnonD-11368, 01 Mar 2016Hi all,
I want to buy a phone with the following criteria.
1) screen size at least 5.7 inc... moreFrom this list:
Umm I suppose the Note 4. (It has SD card option)
- from what you have listed, you don't want the S-pen (or perhaps it is your most important consideration, hence only comparing these two phones..)
If you can live without the S-Pen, the S7 may have a Duos option (dual SIM cards), the Edge variant would give you similar screen real estate as well.
I use a Note Edge, and the extra width, for viewing items in portraiture more is very handy, turning the screen ratio into a width that works. (Far fewer times do I flip my screen sideways that I would on a typical 'widescreen' phone).
