I can control the amount of battery capacity in my old device.
I can control the amount of memory space too.
I still have infrared remote control function for appliances or machines.

They let the phone control their lives, instead of them controlling the phone. Hence they cannot move on repeating that again and again.
Tcool, 10 Feb 2016Hohummm, yawn... I am not interested reading a novel. Boring...And there goes your exit excuse. Nothing to defend your "24 hours" of usage. It is more of standby with probably less than 2 hours of screen time.
We already know you use your Huawei Shot X more as your main phone for your hotspot. You said this here like a month ago.
Tcool, 10 Feb 2016How about you give a proof of your claims? Not just any link, nobody wants to take a risk from... moreYeah, let's go crazy.
Anyone can check my battery performance claims, with daily LTE and WiFi usage. Just copy-paste the following to any search engines including the quotation marks:
Starting January 28, I switched to higher double-capacity batteries and I can show an average running of 14.75 hours on a single charge. I can never attain 24 hours because I run my Note 3 like crazy, with LTE and Bluetooth on, average 8 hours of screen on time, and using some 6-8 GB of data daily. Can you attain at least 6 hours of screen on time daily with the same without charging? Guess not, even using your Huawei Shot X as your hotspot instead of your Note.5.
This is a prime example of why a user replaceable battery system as an OPTION is very much more versatile than a sealed one. Who wants to inherit the problems of carrying charger/charging pads/powerbank/extra phone of iPhone users?
Good that Samsung had decided to put in a bigger battery in the S7, and we can expect some 4000mAh on the Note 6. Perhaps then you can claim "24 hours" usage with actually using something on the Note 6.
AnonD-77443, 09 Feb 2016Don't worry.... The next note will have a lot better battery and 4-8x the storage space with ... moreIts very obvious that the next note will be better than note5 just like the note5 was almost 70% better than note4.I mean every company improves on its products each year.
No one needs to be a genius to understand that.
You r not telling anything new here lol...
So u are asking ppl to not buy note5 now and wait for 8 to 9 more months as there will be a better note6 coming in 2016.what a lame idea u have there.lol

I have a 128GB SD card onboard Note Edge but not used it to the fullest. After 7 months of using that plastic phone, its notification panel and edge screen lags a lot like hell. Immediately dispose of it after 8 months and bought this premium phone. Now I am happier than before.
I am moving on from xperia z2 to note5.hope it will be better than my current phone . Looks are awesome though.this will be my first Samsung. i have note 4 edge in my mind too.any Suggestions please
Tcool, 10 Feb 2016That was impressive... we'll see come February 21.seriously man these ppl are going crazy abt the sd card and removable battery thing lol ...i had those features all this while with my previous smartphones but never felt that its so important or never used to like removing the flimsy battery cover or the sd card again and again.lol
i guess i am a very wise user then lol..

Appreciate mentioning me first.

Anonymous, 09 Feb 2016You all stay here 24/7? Don't you guys go to sleep? Especially Tcool & Paragb & Thenei... moreNo man ur perception abt me is completly wrong i do work for living i also have my share of ups & downs in my life ....but that does not mean that i sud not have any passion abt smartphones and gadgets :)
once again why do u ppl try to b so judgemental everytime ? lol..
Everyone knows that there is no perfect smartphone in the market rightnow likewise even note5 has its drawbacks but some ppl here are only showcasing its darwbacks repeatedly here and try to pick on fights.
whoever bought note5 was aware that it has no sd card or removable battery ppl r not blind lol
The SD card removal came down to no consistency in SD card read speeds/ and controllers being in an inbetween tech state (fast ones not price efficient etc).. At the end of the day they went with lpddr4 and power savings with not having to power another storage 'bank'.
It was probably for good reasons (give their tech and design people some credit, they do actually ship excellent products; anyone here doing the same?)
WHEN we get SD slots back, we will have fast card access, and we WILL be happy.
I'm still using the note 4 generation (note edge), and whilst I don't care for removable batteries especially, SD cards are handy to pull out of dead phones.. (still keep some photos etc).
