AnonD-77443, 02 Feb 2016Your right... Samsung ALWAYS releases sales figures when they are good.... there has been noth... moreThe A5 2016 sure looks great as well with microSD slot, but sealed battery.

After tasting double-capacity batteries WITHOUT ever charging or changing batteries on heavy use for the entire day, I may never want anything that has no removal battery system.

I'm hoping Samsung has the foresight to come up with devices VERSIONS with really high capacity batteries, even if they are sealed. For me, standby time is trash if the electrical consumption is the same for operating LTE downloads with all devices anyway.

For example, if 8 GB download will consume the battery in 8 hours in a new device with sealed battery, versus an old one with a removable battery at the same rate, then I'd rather keep the old one. It makes more sense to have bigger batteries sealed or being able to change it to a higher capacity.

I hate to be bringing along a powerbank just to keep up power. Why do some people want to inherit the problems of iPhone users - trying to conserve battery by not doing so much? We even know some people here are carrying a secondary phone just so their "premium glass" device doesn't run out of power so much to claim it goes on for 24 hours on a battery. That's 3 hours screen usage time for ya, and not even on LTE.

Samsung ALWAYS releases sales figures when they are good.... there has been nothing on the GN5 for 4-5 months.... plus they look like the SD card and a bigger battery are coming back in the S7 (and you would assume the GN6)

This all adds up to the S6 & GN5 sales being a disappointment... it will be a win for people who don't accept second rate products that lack features just because they look beautiful :-)

For anyone looking at the GN5..... you may want to hold off.

The Samsung S7 Plus is RUMORED to have a 6" screen, water/dust resistance, bigger battery and the SD card is back... this may finally be a phone worthy to be called an upgrade on the GN4 :-)

(i dont really use the S-pen).

AnonD-183089, 01 Feb 2016One question! Why Samsung adds the radio to all its devices like A9 & A8, etc. except its ... moreSame reasoning for Samsung's team to take out microSD slot - greed. They want customers enslaved to music subscription and ensures more data usage even with internet radio. The sealed battery concept is for planned obsolescence - not all know it will degrade and forces us to think our devices are slow and have short battery life. They're going the Apple way, but they're doing it wrong. This is Android - no point.

I have FM radio on my Sony Bluetooth MW1 and SBH52 earpieces, but don't use it because of terrible local FM programs. Heck, my MW1 has a microSD card slot.

The NOTE5 and s6 edge plus even beats the newly launched Iphone 6splus as well as every other phablet in the market ritnow..LOL

Do... moreThen why is Samsung still producing medium ranged smartphones and tablets that can accommodate 128 GB cards? Why even sell 128 GB microSD cards with Samsung branding?

No news of the Note.5 ever making sales waves. Samsung would have been all over how "successful" by selling flagships of the S6 and N5 with no memory expansion, and nerfed functions... Experiment gone bad.

Now they bring back memory expansion.
Next is to being back removable battery.

                    http://www.gsmarena.com/samsung_galaxy_a5_(2016)-7789.php

I mean, IT HAS a micro SD slot. Your favorite glass back is there. The front glass panel has beveled edges - it feels like the iPhone 6, except the glass back.

So THIS HAS a microSD slot, why can't the upcoming flagships have them? Even with 2 GB of RAM, and 5.2" FHD screen, I'd still get this one than a Note.5.

But then again, I now have double-capacity batteries on my Note 3... 11 hours+ screen on usage time.
