1) The GN4 has up to 4x the storage space of the 64GB GN5 (8x the 32GB available in many countries).
2) The GN4 battery life is better (see tests) plus there is a removable battery.
3) The GN4 back is a lot stronger than the glass back of the GN5 (see drop tests).
Not everyone cares about these things but battery life and storage would be in the top 5 for most people. GN5/S6 sales are worrying Samsung which is why they are boosting the S7 battery and reportedly bringing back the SD card on the S7.

And I can compare the battery endurance of my Note 5 is way longer than that useless Note Edge replaceable battery.
I already dropped my Note 5 on a tiled floor and it didn't break nor any scratch seen.
Wherein my former phone Note Edge has scratches on the corners.
Don't give false opinion if you are not an owner of this phone. Void!

AnonD-488894, 16 Jan 2016Note edge takes amazing photos as its the same as note 5 but note edge has more features.Not true! I have Note Edge as my previous phone and I can compare the pictures taken from Note Edge is very inferior compared to the photos taken with my Note 5.
Your opinion is void cause you are not a Note 5 user and haven't tried it, So shut up!

I have Note 3 and Note Edge as my previous phones and I tried to use their infrared remote on my JVC smart TV but it doesn't work. Crap feature.

It is a wonderful phone but I was shocked it does not have (IR) infrared beam. That’s made me feel the S6 is better. Especially there are many applications in the market based on the Infrared beam (IR) that turn your smart phone easily to a remote control for the TV the air-condition. . . etc.
It is very cool I tried it on Note 3

The screen seems to have dead potions! I have a problem with the exact location of letter A in the keyboard. The back button on the left top corner too.

Had my note5 last week and its awesome phone.Good battery backup and great display and for a 5.7 inch phone its the best phone

There so many China phones that is good than gn 5 and cheaper than Samsung phone s in Nigeria market like tecno,infinix,gionee ,that gives us what we wants ,Samsung is for the rich who want to throw always there money ,this phones have good cameras and 2days battery backup ,fast charging one hour full battery

The Samsung Galaxy A9 is a vastly better device than this one.
1. Display - 4K is overkill unless you are into the dizzying VR hobby. 1080p is enough
for this display. And no, you won't see better resolution with this display compared to
a 1080p display. It only wastes battery and lowers device performance.
2. 4000mAh should be the minimum battery standard nowadays. What's the point of a gorgeous display that is dead by lunch time if you use it fairly frequently to watch videos
or play games or stream music?
3. Dual sim should be the standard nowadays. One SIM for cheaper data package and another SIM for cheaper phone calls and text package --- or one sim for home and another for work or for local and international travel to save on roaming data. There are plenty other uses for two SIMs and the latest Android versions support them, so why limit one's flexibility?
4. Why no SD card support? SD card support is very useful for people who love to have the entire music collection, HD movie collection and photo collection in their PC's, available anytime, anywhere in their phones even without data connection. They can mirror or screencast (wifi-direct) the movies and photos to any TV anywhere they go, no internet connection needed! Besides, smartphones nowadays offer ever increasing camera resolutions (16 MP+) and ever increasing video resolutions (4K) which will devour a standard 32 GB internal storage in no time.

Phone was pretty good but as i thought..coz its batry bckup iz too bad as comp s.g s3...
Abov all y we use a such a amnt cell if its btry bkup iz too low...rather we better to use j7 or moto x or s.g a7 or htc e8 or sony m4.they all were good btry bckup n also convinenc amnt...
