[deleted post]Or how about someone who went to the "launch" and acts like that's mass market. An idiot that insults someone bringing up family when the majority of phone plans are family plans.
Oh, no; let's act like ALL phone manufacturers don't make the majority of their money off of families with plans buying the same phone brands. Lol
Apple sure does.
But who wants a Note 5 when it's nothing more than an Android knockoff of an IPhone with a pen? The marketing sucks! Thats how they marketing this thing.
Bhabani, 20 Dec 2015note 5 may not hv a removable battery and a micro sd card. but it is the most powerful and lag... moreSo you really don't use this thing to the fullest... best use for a downgrade.
How strange? Most of the ppl here dont have the device but they r against it!!!!!!!
I have the i phone 6 and note 5: the i phone is only fasterand more stable but the note is better in everything else.
Y ppl consider the unremovable battery only bad in note 5, the i phones have them since the invention of the wheel!!!
PARAG B, 21 Dec 2015That was a very bad attempt of resorting on Personal attack i know u got angry cause i do not ... moreDespite the high regard of the Note.5's reviews, most of its die-hard fans regard it as being less than its performing predecessors with less versatility, less functions and lack of sensibility in a sturdier back as opposed to the glass implementation. (One sentence)
PARAG B, 21 Dec 2015That was a very bad attempt of resorting on Personal attack i know u got angry cause i do not ... moreTo help you out with your short attention defiency I'll make one sentence commentaries just for your benefit.
PARAG B, 21 Dec 2015That was a very bad attempt of resorting on Personal attack i know u got angry cause i do not ... moreYou mean like you don't do long commentaries? Maybe it is because you don't read much? And it's ok if you make a long one? Wow.
Such a hypocracy.
This is a short one - you must have read it.
TheNeighbor, 21 Dec 2015Oh, "stop roaming around the bush".That was a very bad attempt of resorting on Personal attack i know u got angry cause i do not read ur comments but control dude.Lol.but i liked how u have made this comment short and simple that makes others read ur comments i.e i read it.
so the moral of the story - do not write repeatative long and boring comments no one reads.Lol

Lol.
Anonymous, 20 Dec 2015I believe someone who have a 14 yr old daughter and a fiancé still in college don't hav... moreS6 Edge Plus is a confused product which is a desperate attempt ride on the popularity of the S6 Edge's firm factor, with the same insides with a slightly bigger screen, except with NO infrared remote control function. I suspect both Note.5 and S6 Plus are limited to mostly 32 GB models from the surplus parts of the failed S6 series selling little - same insides, less features.
It's a confused marketing strategy where you don't sell to an entire contingent (Europe) during the first three months or so, sell only 32 GB models in MOST countries, and you end up with products that are actually LESS in features and versatility than their predecessors!
You sound like you work at Samsung (yeah, you were at the actual launching), and you just lost your hard-core customers like me with silly fragile glass back, gimmicky useless wireless charging, flawed S Pen storage design, sealed battery just puts an expiration date and give us problem to carry or plant charger/charging pad/powerbank just like iPhone users.
Why did you want us to inherit the problems of iPhone users? Gee, to cater the don't-know-don't-care consumers like iPhone users? They just want something shiny to see themselves constantly ready to take beauty shots all day. This is the market you're catering? Concentrate why the Galaxy Note was successful in the first place - versatility, reliability, and sensibility. I don't see any of those traits in your latest products anymore.
PS - It's a good idea you remain anonymous.
Anonymous, 20 Dec 2015I believe someone who have a 14 yr old daughter and a fiancé still in college don't hav... moreSo your idea of target marketing to the Note crowd is a commercial of people drawing "XOXO, I love you" with teenage hip hop music in the background? Lol
That's sure some great multitasking there!
As far as the rest of your drivel you spewed as some form of rebuttal, XOXO buddy ;)
note 5 may not hv a removable battery and a micro sd card. but it is the most powerful and lagless phone . beauty too. and all the uses "the neighbor " has given are useless. if u download 2gb data per day u will bcome a mobile tower. and turning into a mobile tower from a human being is no argument. i want some decent argument for note 5. note 5 is best
absolut-allen, 20 Dec 2015Even, say.. my fiancé. You and your twisted life. Please don't bring family matter in here. We are not interested. Fyi, Samsung didn't market S6 edge+ and Note5 the same way. If you haven't attend the Note5 launch or even have the decency to watch it online, please don't say a word. Samsung clearly advertise Note5 for multitasking and S6 edge+ as multimedia consumption. I was there.
Nobody, 20 Dec 2015Guys, why nobody talks about the lag of the Samsung micro usb socket. IPhone socket is million... moreHaha, nice try:
"...itÂ’s been established that the data transfer speeds for the new iPhone 5 USB cable hasnÂ’t changed. It will still offer the same speeds as the old connector, which meets the performance specifications for USB 2.0".
Thankfully, I still use a Note 3 which has USB 3.0, which is 10 times more speed than a 2.0. Yes, it's an Android device.
And if you do not know what is the difference between a USB 2.0 and 3.0:
absolut-allen, 20 Dec 2015Even, say.. my fiancé. She went with the Note 5 too because she thought it would help h... moreYup, pretty much frustrated at how they've alienated their true customers (with previous Notes having more features and versatility).
I thought that was what the S series was for... and I'm guessing they wanted some comeback with the poor S6 sales by putting another "bigger S6 with a pen". Samsung marketing department fail. I don't care for Samsung products anymore if they're still trying to be iPhones.
Guys, why nobody talks about the lag of the Samsung micro usb socket. IPhone socket is million times better...
hmmm.. i always thought of upgrading my note 2 to note 5, long overdue anyway, however having used to certain luxuries like removable batteries and sd card function does makes me think is it worth my money?, forget iphone - overrated, overpriced for the most stuff i am doing, as a statement of fashion, not iphone - ohh puh-leaseee, having iphone doesnt automatically means u are fashionista- far from it. my note2 does lag and getting slower by day with micro stuttering, and the battery is weak too after 3 years. worth buying.. seriously i guess note 5 is not for me since for the price i am paying, there are no luxuries that i am used too.
well.. i guess its time for root, get trim command on the storage, slap in 10000mah battery with casing and i am good for the next 3 years. probably flashing too. if my impulse buying brain fart is willing probably i'll get note 4 or z5 premium, anyone from kl, lets go for teh tarik session
TheNeighbor, 20 Dec 2015While I use it to jot notes, sketch concepts, but if you're child isn't artistically inclined,... moreEven, say.. my fiancé. She went with the Note 5 too because she thought it would help her out with taking notes in college. Turns out her university didn't allow smartphone use in class.
She never uses the pen or has any idea how the multitasking is supposed to be. Now she wished she had a S6 Edge+ because she would rather of had the entertainment value of a phone.
That's where Samsung is failing. They aren't differentiating their flagship phones. They market both S6 and Note 5 as the same but one has a pen. So, if one doesn't care to use a pen or doesn't see the reason to use one and they see the Note is nothing different than an S6 with a pen; what's the appeal to the Note?
HTC has a history of this type of marketing. They had a ton of phones with no separation or defining need. Sure as hell hurt their business.
For those who think I'm just out to down the Note, I have 2 of them. Each has issues. Don't even go there. I've given plenty of reason why I'm pretty pissed off on how Samsung is treating their market that made them a success.
