Tcool, 30 Dec 2015Actually you don't need that much of memory storage if you are a normal being. Common sense wi... moreThat means I'm not like you with limited use thinking. As I said, your usage is underpowered. Note.5 is perfect for you, while previous models can actually do more.

Tcool, 30 Dec 2015LOL! Stop your show up. TVs and projectors have USB ports, no need for miracasting ek ek! Savi... moreWow. No need for miracasting? I've done slide lectures with my Note 3, demonstrated drawing techniques LIVE to my students, and be anywhere in the room. It's not all about entertainment.
I cast documentaries and helpful YouTube video casting onto the projector/large led TV. Don't tell us you can't do those with the Note.5. This is even why I need the infrared remote control functions to control the TV/projector.
USB port? Thank you for showing us your tech savvy thinking. People like me do things wirelessly.

Tcool, 30 Dec 2015LOL! Stop your show up. TVs and projectors have USB ports, no need for miracasting ek ek! Savi... moreWhy do you keep mentioning that I keep pointing to the sky to everyone?
Tcool, 30 Dec 2015Actually you don't need that much of memory storage if you are a normal being. Common sense wi... moreI guess you weren't paying attention. I only have 8 movie files at the moment, while majority of my files are some 30 GB of audio books/music, some 20 GB current TV series downloads and 40 GB of e-books/pdf are on my 128 GB. Because I could. Because I need. Because I want.
Your repetitive watching of "movies" argument is meaningless, and has no root to the debate.
Love you, man.
TheNeighbor, 30 Dec 2015LOL. Did I just hit a nerve? I've already mentioned miracasting and NearbyDevices functions. T... moreFGS, who stores 30 to 60 full HD movies in the phone with his logical mind? I bet you only watched them once and the rest for show up. Even you watch them repeatedly, it is not practical to keep them in the phone. Maybe two to four movies but not 60! OMG!
TheNeighbor, 30 Dec 2015LOL. Did I just hit a nerve? I've already mentioned miracasting and NearbyDevices functions. T... moreLOL! Stop your show up. TVs and projectors have USB ports, no need for miracasting ek ek! Saving HD movies in a USB memory and connecting it to TV or projector is easier. You don't need to save them on the phone. Don't make life complicated.

[deleted post]LOL. Did I just hit a nerve? I've already mentioned miracasting and NearbyDevices functions. That means I use bigger screens when I can. I even use a Google Chromecast to a projector to mirror my phones screen for lectures.
I happen to have a 1080p TV. I mentioned that before. 4k movies go like 8 to 15 GB each. A 32 GB Note.5 (which is the widely sold in most countries Worldwide) would only give you some 25 GB - just means you can only have at at maximum 2 4k movies. Pretty meaningless if you have a 4k TV and yet stream only 1070p movies. Meantime, I can theoretically hold some 30 to 60 full HD movies with my 128 GB microSD combined with my 32 GB internal memory.
Gotcha.
TheNeighbor, 30 Dec 2015Your argument about repetitive watching is moot. I currently have 8 full HD movies on my micro... moreActually you don't need that much of memory storage if you are a normal being. Common sense will tell you there is no need to keep large files in your phone that you will only use very seldom or only once like those rotting HD movies in the files that you need only to watch once or twice.
Very frustrating when it comes to choosing my new phone.
Samsung Note 5 is good with great camera, OIS and great apps. But no card slot!!! and no 128GB option!!! If it have either a card slot or 128GB option I will get it!
Sony Z5 premium is good with card slot and good camera. But no OIS!!! and NOT AMOLED screen?!?! If it have OIS I will get it!!!
Lumia 950 XL with superb camera! card slot! and at least have the apps I need. But buggy OS!!! Not available in Singapore!!!!!
What the heck is going on with all these companies!!???
Think I will just wait. Really frustrating!!!
[deleted post]Your argument about repetitive watching is moot. I currently have 8 full HD movies on my microSD. The others are music, audio books, e-books, and TV series. I'm sure they're more than 64 GB, which in your logic is "abnormal". The point is I have 146 GB of combined memory space on my device to do more things with than your 57 GB from your device. If I had a 200 GB microSD card, I'd have 215+ GB. Or I can even miracast or share it to other devices.
You still see it unthinkable that anyone actually uses that much? It's because you're pretty underpowered user - 64 GB is pretty much what YOU need.
Even the whole concept of a 128/200 GB microSD card being transferable to another device like to a tablet or laptop seems "abnormal"? No, right? Well, I can do that. You can't, and apparently don't need to. A microSD has no moving parts and therefore less likely be corrupted from shocks. I never carry around the usual HDD if I can help it.
Still love you, man.
2, 30 Dec 2015Samsung what the f when is marsmallow coming for note5It is coming at the same time with S7. Because it introduce the new Touchwiz with it. If they released it now then everyone would know what to expect from S7 already. Only a few lucky Samsung device like S6 edge and Note 4 received Marshmallow update accidently. You can find those online yourself.
Good day! Does it lag (note 5)? Thanks!
TheNeighbor, 30 Dec 2015You know I care more about functionality than shiny fragile glass. You call watching movies repeatedly a functionality? Now that's what mazing logic is!
