TheNeighbor, 12 Dec 2015Yeah, I have a Note 8 and more especially an Alienware laptop for heavier tasks when I need to... moreSpeaking of LTE, it makes me wonder why Samsung never improve their amartphone battery life while using it. They are the one who advertise LTE-A and yet it jist sucks up more battery. That is why I try to stay in 3g mode most of the time to save battery. The worst part is that 5g coming soon and battery life for the smartphone industry will get worst. Somebody really need to invent a new battery soon.
Anonymouses, 12 Dec 2015I still prefer a larger device for certain things like photo editing and movies. Galaxy Tab S ... moreYeah, I have a Note 8 and more especially an Alienware laptop for heavier tasks when I need to. Those usually stay home. But most of the time, I'll not carry 5KG of weight in my backpack in the city if I don't need to.
I can still sketch my designs when I need to with the Galaxy Note. Write pretty fast with swipe text when I need to. Carry an extra battery for full charge in roughly after 12 hours in the day. Heck, I carry over 40GB of e-books numbering to over 900 on my microSD card if I need to reference something for my academic papers. My Note is practically my secondary screen with my Surface 2 for research papers, and internet hotspot when I need to.
But most of the time I carry my Note 3, wallet, extra battery, keys and my bluetooth earset with no bag - just all in my pockets. Pretty soon I'll just put in a new double capacity battery and eliminate carrying and swapping a battery before I go home. Advantage of a removable battery system to keep it going to my heavy use with my unlimited LTE data service.

AnonD-100398, 11 Dec 2015I have a LG 42" 3D smart Tv which came with a magic remote in 2013 even i bought the tv in 201... moreNo, I get you. My phone syncs with my tv, fiancé's tv and my mother's stereo; oh and my PC too.
If there wasn't a problem with the multitasking I'd be fine. That's a biggie. Seems each phone has a different issue (hence my fiancé's phone going buggy on the battery stats).
I'm sure this games fine, it has the power to do at least Playstation 3 graphics. I'm a Diablo 3 guy myself so I'm not really into gaming on the phone, would like the multitasking to work is all.
Anonymous, 12 Dec 2015Get a Galaxy Tab S as a secondary device for media consumption. That's the point for getting a Galaxy Note - big screen that can fit the pocket. No need to carry a secondary device. But I think that's what they want you doing - nerf the phones without memory expansions to get the tablets with memory expansions. All with sealed battery so you should also get their power packs.
[deleted post]Thanks for the tips. I'm on a GN4 so space isn't an issue but i might have to look at google photos and google music. The unlimited storage looks ok. (a 32GB GN5 still wouldnt work for my needs though)
siemens is back in game under the name gigaset 3 new models flagship killers
I recently got a new Note 5. Its totally amazing, Love every feature in it. Increased RAM (compared to Note 2, Previously owned) is super fast, also able to download content fast, I totally love having in-built MS Office and it automatically makes a highlights video of videos in your phone. I especially love its camera (both front cam and back cam) its very clear but sometimes it shows out every lil mark on my face which my old phone never did.
Having a good camera is sometimes bad too, but most of the times its good. I am totally satisfied with this product. :)
Draw back : it dosen't have hidden apps where I can dump rarely used applications
AnonD-237417, 11 Dec 2015Note 5 is the bestIf your happy to accept just 32GB of space in many countries.
AnonD-430264, 11 Dec 2015Just so ya know.. I'm not a fanboy. I've had every phone under the sun. Only 2 Samsung phones ... moreI have a LG 42" 3D smart Tv which came with a magic remote in 2013 even i bought the tv in 2013 it supports inbuilt screen mirroring on the galaxy note5 which has got few updates i mean the magic remote came with the tv can be used to control the entire smartphone .the magic remote has a mouse like feature & my note5 takes every command (back, task switcher, home buttons) from it which is just amazing i mean its gives a pc like feeling with everything on the huge tv screen. although u cannot play all the android games with it (anyways i mainly play AAA games on my ps4) cause there a microsecond latency in screen mirroring but u cud watch full hd videos and use the phone as a browser on big scrren. my note2 and note3 did not have this magic remote functionality they use to only mirror the screen .
The thing to wonder is that my note5 is supporting my 2013 lg smart tv and the tv that old also has a remote working as a mouse for note5 for me it was like fortunate co-incidence.

AnonD-100398, 11 Dec 2015dam u! that is my personal opinion may be if you wud have taken a hands on u wud not have foun... moreJust so ya know.. I'm not a fanboy. I've had every phone under the sun. Only 2 Samsung phones (S4 and Note 5).
However I am a fanboy when it comes to TV'S. I only do Samsung with that. LG I feel is almost as good, but; the screen ratio settings are weird and don't seem to work for my channels. Samsung delivers in that aspect as it auto adjusts.
As far as phones: I've had everything and no fanboy here. Have a Crucial SSD in my PC instead of a Samsung Evo. Hmm. Do have a Samsung monitor though.
AnonD-100398, 11 Dec 2015dam u! that is my personal opinion may be if you wud have taken a hands on u wud not have foun... moreNo reason to get offended. I was saying that it looks like the old HTC ONE.
Yes, I'll admit it; Samsung copied the old iPhone with the glass back on the Note 5.
Do I like it? Not really. It's the same cop-out that Apple used with the HTC.
Usually people that are looking for an android phone want the customization factor though. It's two different form factors when choosing between an iPhone or Android. It's not about looks really. You seem to love the Note 5 so why suggest an iPhone? Although I have suggested an iPhone to a coworker before, it's because she wanted the simplicity instead of dealing with customizing. That's about it.
Stick to your guns if you're really into this Note.
AnonD-430264, 11 Dec 2015Just curious how you think the iPhone 6 looks sexy when it looks identical to an almost 3 year... moreOh look, he used the word "hypocrite" again without knowing what it exactly it means... Totally contradicting himself to what he keeps telling us.
AnonD-430264, 11 Dec 2015Just curious how you think the iPhone 6 looks sexy when it looks identical to an almost 3 year... moredam u! that is my personal opinion may be if you wud have taken a hands on u wud not have found it to b dam sexy but i did.why do i have not like some things from the rival device , i am not a hypocrite like few dumb ppl here.i'll give u a example i also like the mirror back on the chrome color Z5P a lot no matter how much i hate it for not having the biggest apreture, OIS , 5.7" amoled screen, small bezels etc...so the moral of the story is there are diffrent things diffrent ppl look for while buying a device & there cud be something that you wud like from other devices as well .
I do not have fanboy type mentality to just follow one OEM and agree to everything they do.LOL.
