AnonD-183089, 06 Dec 2015Agree :DWhat smartphone do you have rightnow?
Fair warning to those thinking of getting this - totally half-baked with fragile back which breaks in one drop. LESS features than the past Galaxy Notes. Only comes in 32 GB in most countries with NO memory expansion. They took out the useful infrared remote control function. S Pen silo storage design is flawed which makes the pen stuck and destroys the pen detection if put in backwards.

IT costs only $5000 ROFL..
I have purchased Note 5 almost 2 months back... The fast wire charging is sensitive, not sturdy as older versions (used nite 2 for the last 2 years) and needed repair. It's covered under warranty but the service centres in noida are not equipped to handle its repair- the parts are not available for 2 weeks and they are quite xpensive if technically not under warranty. Being an old Samsung user, I would rare Note 5 pretty low on maintenance support and cost of repairs.
AnonD-183089, 06 Dec 2015Totally agree no one will find all his needs in one device we have to give up some options we ... moreYeah, let's all be satisfied with 16GB if Samsung puts it out next Galaxy Note because someone here tells us it's normal since Apple is still doing it.
[deleted post]Worst is people who spend over $1000 to get it and deny all the flaws and shortcomings, tells us 32/64GB is enough, and fragile glass is the best ever.
People need to know to stay away from this half-baked crap.

AnonD-183089, 06 Dec 2015Really we hated note 3 because of your repeating comments and complaining from note 5 and you ... moreBecause instead of more features, Note.5 just is less and more fragile. Why would heavy users of previous Galaxy Notes ever want this?
I'm really sticking with my Note 3 for my heavy usage. And it's not that I can't afford to get it, it's WHY should I get something that does LESS. 32GB version only being sold is nothing compared to something that is about able to accommodate my 128 GB microSD card.
Considering that it comes "free" with my renewal of my service, I'm not going to waste that just because it has a fragile shiny glass back what you'd consider as "premium".
I'm not denying that the Note.5 has a great camera, good fingerprint scanner, but those aren't priority features I'm looking for. Ooh, another 6 months to see if Samsung just stops this experiment, and comes out with stuff for its real customers.
Anonymous, 05 Dec 2015You want to know what A7(2016) don't have; the Spen and bezel. Just like the measurement you g... more"Slimmer and narrower device with hollow S pen slot like Note5, how the heck you going to put a 3300mah battery in that thing" I don't want to offend anyone, but my statement is clear if A7(2016) which is smaller can have a 3300mah then it is possible to increase the battery capacity of N6(considering the it has same size as N5) which is bigger by 8.12%, we deduct the SPen volume of 2.39%. Then N6_Battery=(1.0812-0.0239)*3300mah=3490mah.
TheNeighbor, 06 Dec 2015Confirming your complaints about the hanging, especially multi-windows through colleague's use... moreYou telling me she lost a Note 3 and buy a Note5 without knowing the specs? Why didn't she just buy another Note 3. For the rest, I wonder why some of you can't stick to your old devices. No one forcing you to upgrade to Note5. Keep what you already have and stop looking for new smartphone. It seem like all of you keep looking for a new smartphone every single day. Are you guys shopaholics? Smartphone-addicted? Some of you claimed to own Note 4 or Note 3 and yet thinking about getting a Note5 but complaining that it don't have sd slot or removable battery. Sound silly enough to me. Why the complain if you can still use your old phone?
Don't buy, as N6 is definitely with sd card slot. Just wait 6months, or carry on with what you have. But mind you, be prepared with 100X10 Dollar Bills.
AnonD-430264, 06 Dec 2015I get you on some points but, why does your colleague complain about memory expansion when it ... moreYup, most non-tech people will likely assume that it would have the same, if not BETTER stuff FEATURES compared to previous models. 32GB version is the only model sold where I live, although it comes with dual SIM - still utterly useless with a silly limited storage space.
TheNeighbor, 06 Dec 2015Confirming your complaints about the hanging, especially multi-windows through colleague's use... moreReally we hated note 3 because of your repeating comments and complaining from note 5 and you didn't own it at all
TheNeighbor, 06 Dec 2015Confirming your complaints about the hanging, especially multi-windows through colleague's use... moreI get you on some points but, why does your colleague complain about memory expansion when it was known about the memory before she bought the phone?
Can't complain about something you didn't research.
Confirming your complaints about the hanging, especially multi-windows through colleague's use. About once a week hanging. She ain't happy finding out that it does not have memory expansion and had to endure carrying an OTG cable with her USB flash drive. She thought it was better than the Note 3 she lost. She's regretting spending so much for something that does less.
