did you insert the s pen in the wrong direction???
if yes, what are you mentally challenged???
i have been using a note since note 2 i never had a urge to do something so stupid!!!
and if no, you have my back you should get a free replacement of that stupid sensor. because note 5 have a issue of the sensor getting damaged easily .that's one of the reason i am sticking to note 4
I am just wondering the reason that Note 5 S Note is worse. I had a Note 2 for 3 years and I loved it and especially the S Note. I could take pictures and add them to my note and record memos into the notes, but the Note 5 I can't do any of that. I'm not happy about that. What was the purpose of the change???
Its ridiculous, N4 already on Andriod 6, and latest forgotten, idiocy of Technical team, just pressed wrong button. Prices have slashed to 30% less, and no major demand even. Titanium paid extra 650$ and unimpressed, from N3. Just many disgruntled people will effect new S7 sales, still no sd card slot. Lets see who wins!

If you don't insert the pointy end into any Note first you shouldn't own one either.
Dear TheNeighbor,
Dont you ever get tired of arguing over something which isnt ever related to you? Its been definitely a few weeks or more than a month since i last posted a comment with regards to you. And since then i have bought the note 5, used it and have no complaints but compliments for it. Oh wait, there is one complaint. They just followed Iphones concept too much. Basically they followed it to about 80% or so. However, it is just the design. For ur fact of glass breaking. So far ive only seen the droid turbo 2 perform spectacularly well when it comes to dropping n crushing the glass. we dont buy phones so that we can toss them to the ground and see the durability. You dont pay so much just so that the phone is durable. Have some sense mate. You're getting really old over here.
If you want to compare specs, please, use antutu benchmark and compare. If youre lazy, please google it. Even better, just read the reviews from gsmarena. That would be great. In terms of camera department, the nexus 6p, iphones 6s and top flagship phones had been taken for comparison and note 5 won. So please, instead of being jealous and place hatred towards the phone and others just because samsung did not bring out a phone according to your liking, accept the fact that they did well and u have a non innovative and creative idea and sleep with it. Thanks!

You get 1000 pats in the back. It's like telling us you must never drop the Note.5 because that's the likely cause of the glass breaking. Did they put that in the instruction manual as well? If not, you're entitled for a free replacement.

Clearly stated the Spen, if inserted in the wrong way may damage the silo. Your fault not reading the manual. I guess you're the type that simply sign any contract without reading either.
Recently I bought a Samsung Note 5. Earlier to that I was using Note 2.
the screen off memo recently found to be not working within the usage of less than one one month of purchase. On checking with the service center, they gave me shock it is probably the pen might have got inserted from the reverse side of the pen where it can damage. If it is so why then the side design is poor. No sockets generally seen it can be inserted other way so that it doesn't harm the gadget. It is surprise failure of Samsung R&D.
Samsung also not ready to service the same at free of charge even under warranty. It is bad, such a costly phone has such design deficiency without precautionary measures.

When it gets to about 15%, I just change the battery in under 90 seconds to get 100% again.
And what do you have to do with your Note.5? Plug in for "under 90 MINUTES" to get 100%. You have to carry around charger/charging pad/powerbank. Just waiting for another week or so for my 6400mAh batteries, so I'll never change them just during the day. HUGE advantange. Samsung should consider making a version with at least 7000mAh to 10,000mAh capacity. There is not a teachnology yet that can double the power hold - might as well increase the volume of the battery if they are going for a sealed type.

They are the one who advertise LTE-A and yet it jist sucks up more battery. That is why I try to stay in 3g mode most of the time to save battery. The worst part is that 5g coming soon and battery life for the smartphone industry will get worst. Somebody really need to invent a new battery soon.

Galaxy Tab S ... moreYeah, I have a Note 8 and more especially an Alienware laptop for heavier tasks when I need to. Those usually stay home. But most of the time, I'll not carry 5KG of weight in my backpack in the city if I don't need to.
I can still sketch my designs when I need to with the Galaxy Note. Write pretty fast with swipe text when I need to. Carry an extra battery for full charge in roughly after 12 hours in the day. Heck, I carry over 40GB of e-books numbering to over 900 on my microSD card if I need to reference something for my academic papers. My Note is practically my secondary screen with my Surface 2 for research papers, and internet hotspot when I need to.
But most of the time I carry my Note 3, wallet, extra battery, keys and my bluetooth earset with no bag - just all in my pockets. Pretty soon I'll just put in a new double capacity battery and eliminate carrying and swapping a battery before I go home. Advantage of a removable battery system to keep it going to my heavy use with my unlimited LTE data service.

If there wasn't a problem with the multitasking I'd be fine. That's a biggie. Seems each phone has a different issue (hence my fiancé's phone going buggy on the battery stats).
I'm sure this games fine, it has the power to do at least Playstation 3 graphics. I'm a Diablo 3 guy myself so I'm not really into gaming on the phone, would like the multitasking to work is all.
