It is premium with no fragile glass back. Have sd slot up to 128gb. It have more feature and less expensive. No wireless charging that you assumed could damage your phone. No fast charging. No spen that can be inserted wrongly. It is practically your dream smartphone. Top of that, GA8 have slightly(just a pinch) bigger battery. The rest of the specs are more or less the same as Note5. You will love it.
seems like a lot of concern about removeable battery. but I had used note 2 with extra battery and battery charger. I would say it is quite an hassle and not really practical for myself. the cost the buying extra battery and charger is not cheap also so it may not be such a big different if one day the non-removeable battery need to be replaced
Its ridiculous my iPhone 4 sealed battery is still giving me a day usuage. No need to replace, occured, then why cry for N5. Would you all talk about new tecnicalities, than sd slot & battery. Otherwise wait outside!

Wow, the latest device can't do or have stuff than older or lower end devices? It sure has the fastest processor and internal memory, but only 32GB? - I have 32 +128 GB with my 2-year-old Note 3.
You have fast wireless charging and wait "under 90 MINUTES", while I get full charge in under 90 SECONDS by swapping batteries.
While you carry powerbanks to charge at least 2 hours during your walking hours, I carry only a spare battery that's only 20% of its volume, and don't have to wait for my phone to be powered up.
While you claim that fragile glass back to be "premium", the back of my Note 3 will never shatter with one drop.
While you boast about the latest S Pen has a clicking end and cool flushed storage, it's grossly flawed with the silo storage if you accidentally put it in the wrong way. I can remove my S Pen with one swift pull, while you have to push first, and then pull - two motions versus one motion.
Oh no, it's not about budget that I'm not getting the Note.5 - my Note 3 totally does for my needs way MORE. Why would I get something that does way LESS than what I have now?
Samsung should reconsider more innovative and more features compared to old and lower end devices. What they're doing now is just aligning to the limitations and blandness of features of the competition.
If you want a flashy premium design you buy the 6 edge plus. But why take away features off the note 5.They should have just left a good product the way it was now you got two identical phones with the 6edge plus.Thats what stopped me from getting the note 5. Not a bad phone but i feel like its a step back from what they had.Samsung stop trying to imitate apple you started the powerful phablet don't kill it.
More storage is necesary. With everything in hd and 4k video recording you will need it imagine sonys 23 mp camera on the xperia z5 premium thank god they left the sd slot. Space will run out quickly or you would have to buy another model and as for clouds, mobile data isn't always availiable and you will need bigger data plans and that means more money out of your pocket.
Bhabani, 26 Nov 2015Hello. note 5 has no removable battery and no sd slot.
Has anyone gone mad over this.
O... moreNo removable battery wasn't a deal breaker for me as the note battery life is pretty good (Samsung has gone for looks over features on this).
The lack of storage was what stopped me getting my 5th consecutive Note. 32GB is simply inadequate in today's world of 20MP cameras, 4K video, HD movies etc.

Hello. note 5 has no removable battery and no sd slot.
Has anyone gone mad over this.
One person surely has. Guess who
[deleted post]Sam 941 do you own it, should have thought then, or wait for S7 with memory slot 256 gb. But have any body got warning shortage of space, I have 31Gb full with no fear of space. Very happy plus within months it's half price..

But omitting out the memory expansion, making them more fragile and taking out features does give these so-called "flagship" devices aren't my cup of tea. It's silly that they are producing stuff that fall short of the last generations. And you like it? Sheesh.

Don't give me bullshit like, "Go buy an older model". No harm in buying phone with unremovable battery. Its not like I'm going to use it for hundred years. People will keep changing phone just to stay relevant with todays tech. Break it? No big deal. Damage? Don't care. That is what your job for. To get money and buy stuff. Without those greedy company who are going to make smartphones for us? Nokia? Blackberry? Return to dumb phone then.
Samsung galaxy Note 5 is the best of any phone in the world Right now. Go for it I have Used this phone for 2 months so far not a single complaint from it best battery backup, best gaming experience, best premium design, best camera and everything. Best value for money. previously used (nexus 6) better than it in all aspects. thank you samsung for such a great premium phone. waiting for marshmallow thats going to be released next month as it is a first samsung device to recieve marshmallow update.
Xiumin, 26 Nov 2015Not only Apple & Sony. Huawei, Oppo, Vivo, HTC, Gionee, Xiaomi, ZTE, Motorola, Asus, Black... moreThis is the exact wrong thing happening - a trend for everyone to become RENTERS than owners of what they are buying.
Sealed battery means they want you relying on their service centers, forcing you to buy "battery packs", and ultimately subcontiously for you getting a new one every year.
No memory slot means you pay more for more memory capacity.
Even making these "flagship" devices fragile is a wanted thing for you? It's another ploy for you breaking that expensive toy faster.
Fast charging/fast wireles charging - the faster to destroy that sealed battery.
It's a silly shameless trend for these greedy companies to increase profit yearly. And you are agreeing to all of these?

Huawei, Oppo, Vivo, HTC, Gionee, Xiaomi, ZTE, Motorola, Asus, Blackberry(Priv), Lenovo, Meizu for example have none of their flagship with removable battery anymore. Name me 10 other brands that still use removable battery in flagship other than LG. You need to realized the game has changed. Your era of removable battery no longer exist. Admit it. You are getting old for this. You couldn't keep up with tech.
