A removable battery system gives choices. The battery is the most likely to be worn out faster. I'm still keeping my choices open for my next phone device to replace my Note 3. It looks like I'll be keeping it a lot more longer than I intended. I need that S Pen. I need that AMOLED screen. I need that removable battery. I need that memory expansion - all pointing to the Note 4 than this half-baked Galaxy Note.5.

I'm expecting my extended batteries for my Note 3 in 2 weeks - I don't have to change batteries during the day, yet will be able to just heavily use my device. Now with manufacturers going sealed battery, I have to endure having to plug in some 2 to 4 hours during the day, and expect the battery deterioriated in a matter of 6 to 8 months. Man, that just sucks. And uncritical buyers are just happy NOT knowing about it, nor do they actually care. Yup, just as long as they see "100%" everyday - not knowing it is getting less and less in usage everytime they charge.

Glass back "premium"? That's why I stayed away from Sony, other than their pathetic battery life usage time. If this really is the "future", I wish they DOUBLE the battery capacities of theose darn sealed batteries - I certainly do not mind it being 15mm thick. Functionality over bling. Yeah, that's an idea, Samsung - make other variants with double the battery. Having to carry around charger/charging pad/powerbank is simply so SILLY, just to say your phone is less than 8mm thickness.

Personally i prefer the GN4 back as it has a lot more grip, shows less finger prints and doesn't shatter when dropped. Plus its removable allowing 100% battery recharge in 60 seconds.

I think removable batteries are gone but SD cards may come back if Samsung can't develop high speed 128GB storage. 32GB is a joke in 2016 (almost)!

TheNeighbor, 02 Dec 2015I believe the current A series HAVE microSD slots. Disgusted that they put glass back.Well, you don't have a choice. The new 2016 A series are a strong indicator glass back cover will not be gone any sooner. Glass is better than cheap plastic and works better than metal. Gsmarena article did mentioned Fast Charging now available in the new A series. Samsung really wants to emphasize on wireless charging.

What's even wow is we could change to fresh batteries to gain 100% power back, have 128 GB of extra storage space, no fragile glass back, remote control appliances and equipment, and not have to deal with iTunes to manage media.

Now Samsung is trying to make it like an iPhone.

Please guys check the specs of the newly released A7 2016....its an indicator that samsung is correcting the way it took in s6 and note 5 by adding SD card slot and reducing the battery to 3300mAh non removable! The upcoming S7 in feb. Will be the huge indicator of note 6 :) but note 5 still the top android phone now as per antutu benchmark. Hoping samsung also to increase the battery size and returning the sd card in note 6

All if us are saying, rubbish nothing useful, somebody has different experience somebody different, mostly depends on user knowledge of electronics. So they maybe defective pieces, that's why probably Chinese have more, because quality checks minimal. Nobody can't do anything if it's defective except repeat it hundred times on this forum. Note 5 is latest now, but next year N6 will be more improvised and so on.

Hello guys, how are you? Today I got a new update of 99mb ,updated my Note5 with it, and here's my opinion on the update.
                                    1) It feels much more cooler than before because of which the battery backup has increased
                                    2) The update has also fixed few bugs note5 had with lock screen freezing, bluetooth issues
                                    3) The update has also increased the capacity to hold more apps in its RAM , i mean afterall the 4gb RAM is going to dominate other smartphones with less RAM.
There cud be lots of other improvements or even new bugs with this update which i am yet to explore but .Overall its a nice update so far.

So guys please share ur views abt this new update if u all had also updated ur device.
