The poll on removable battery was June 2014, however, last March(this year), a poll on specifically about the S6's memory expansion and removable battery garnered almost 62% saying they were unhappy with the omissions:

I don't know why the minority is bent on Samsung making impractical devices with non-removable battery and no memory expansion. Clearly Samsung is going the wrong way with very poor sales, and the layoffs and salary freezes are glaring indications they are performing bad with the smartphone industry.

They should stop listening to iPhone fans.

That number kept on increasing per year. However, let me ask you this. What year is this surveyed done? It is not valid if it is coming from an old data. Btw, this survey doesn't specifically done for Samsung brand. The survey is too general. It doesn't shows how many Samsung customers wants removable battery and sd card.

AnonD-100398, 09 Nov 2015It does not matter to samsung if they lost there few 1 or 2 % customers who wanted the sd card... moreAgain, where are you getting YOUR statistics? What basis is that "98%"? This is your pure baseless speculation.

53% of smartphone users surveyed want to have removable battery:
              http://flic.kr/p/x2oHot

Barely 11.5% are OK it without micro SD slot.
              http://flic.kr/p/wzjyR6

So therefore, your "98%" theory of people who don't care about memory expansion and removable battery is totally fabricated by YOU.

So why are you still carrying a powerbank and wireless HDD? Why do you still need more power and memory storage if you don't care about more battery or memory expansion? It's so contradicting, and so hypocritical.

I agree with all of you who saying note 5 is better than note4. But I personally need sdcard slot. So I won't update. Even if note 5 has some advantages in speed and looks, software etc. for me note 4 wins all in all.

There is one smartphone that I heard of having 2 micro SD slots. One 128GB micro SD card has about 120GB usable space, then 4 x 120GB = 480GB. It can practically hold all of my CURRENT movie and TV series collection on a 500GB HDD, and safely with solid-state memory than mechanical spinning HDDs. I'd just have one elegant device to carry than having to carry an extra wireless HDD.

Z5 series is awesome in its own right, and really was considering since it has that covetted micro SD slot we need.

See? The underpowered users are telling us we should be carrying wireless mechanical spinning HDDs that have power that last 4 hours. Imagine walking around that thing on - good bye HDD. They don't seem to understand the concept of how a mechanical spinning HDD has a needle. Yeah, we should listen to them so we should constantly endure deleting and copying files most of the time...

It'll be like having a Galaxy Note 4 with a 32GB internal and ONLY a 32GB micro SD card inside. Ew. I'm so glad I don't have to carry around a 1 or 2 TB wireless HDD just to boast I have all my (soon to be gone) data acessed on my phone, that needs to be still be powered around with a powerbank. Imagine that - carrying all those extra acessories just to have data storage space to augment the 32GB internal space. It's just so opposite to having the just a 128GB micro SD card and one elegant device to carry.
