It's funny to see people argue about each companies flagship phones. In reality, every flagship phone is a beautiful, technological marvel that many people in the world can only dream of having. For the commenters saying a $750 phone is junk, trash, etc, you sound silly and should probably refrain from making yourself look immature. I am a bit tech obsessed. I change phones every couple to few months. I started this cycle about a year ago when I stood in line for the iPhone 6 Plus. I had previously owned all the iPhones and numerous Androids and even a Nexus back in the day (in technology terms, of course). I got bored with the iPhone 6 Plus so I took advantage of Best Buys return policy and was able to test the Galaxy S5, LG G3, and the HTC M8. I ultimately decided on the S5 and then after a month I hated how the phone felt. Once you've held an aluminum unibody phone, you'll never buy a plastic phone again. I just got the Note 5 a few days ago and I am in love with this phone. It is beautiful and powerful. It is hands down the best smartphone on the market and with the specs that Samsung packed inside, it is futureproof for the next two years. My only concern about the phone is bittersweet. I love how devices feel without a case. They are beautiful things and should not be covered up with a case. The Note 5 is all glass with a metal frame. I had to buy a clear plastic case because I don't want to damage or scratch the phone. I know this post is too long now, but the Note 5 is by far the best phone on the Market and I don't see any phone knocking it off it's pedestal any time soon.
I think some people obsessed with removable battery should keep 10 spare batteries, hold 5 in one hand and 5 in other hand. They should not hold mobile phones.

Carrying and plugging in a powerbank more inefficient, only be able to transfer 60-70% of its power charge total, at least is 5 times the volume of a spare battery, requires you to carry a bag.
Spare batteries give you 100% power in minute, while a powerbank needs to be plugged in about "90" minutes.
I don't know why people keep defending a BACKWARD-thinking way to replace power. Even buying new batteries yourself down the line gives full efficiency ,"as brand new" after some 300 charging cycles - you should know batteries degrade with their capacities over time.
Amazing. Perfect and beautiful. Just keep away from bad (black) eyes. otherwise everything will be okay. Note 5 is the Best. I love it.
TheNeighbor, 03 Nov 2015Good lordy... Note 3 has 3GB of RAM. Note 4 has IR blaster. Do your research before ranting wrongly. You're right about GN4 having IR Blaster he is also right... He is talking about Note 3 Neo not the normal Note 3

HOWEVER... even the most die hard Samsung fan would admit that limiting the GN5 to 32GB (like they do in Australia) absolutely cripples what would be a great device.
32GB before OS, apps, cache and files doesn't leave much room to play with... whats the point of a super quick, great looking phone if you constantly need to delete data, use cloud or USB OTG ( I will stick with the 196GB storage on my GN4 thanks Samsung)

I am the user of iphone 6, I switched from iphone 6 to note 5 this week.
Whenever I use LTE, IPHONE gets heated up,due to this its very hard to hold in mypocket.
Battery drains very fastly even while using 3G(3 hours cont use approx). I approched Imagine, Their concern is,it happens with iphone while using 3g and above bands.
I would say IOS is best one to experience and could feel that it is built professionally whereas you cannot expect that in Android.
Note 5 is crafted in Metal with advanced camera lens.performance wise it is good however it slightly lags. Other aircommand features are asusual as in note 4.
If you wanna enjoy the feature go for note 5 and if it is something related to status, Iphone is good
Note 5 is the most wanted phone of 2015. Those who want a removable battery, micro sd card and change battery 2, 3 times daily by swiching off phone taking out the back case, puttimg a spare battery, switchimg it on again, cheap textured back, speaker at the back, which is most irritating, Can go for galaxy J7 or note 4.Those who want to come from office and put ur phone on a wireless charger, most convenient, can go for note 5 and u get the best phone. U Can get a wireless 2 Tb external hard disk bcoz. Even 128gb is not sufficient
Note5 duo is again never to be seen, Chinese market is flooded why! Such expensive Phone why not have duo sims. Sammy does not cater to worldwide demand. Gulf golden color flooded. No duo. Let price fall nose dive, very little demand.
TheNeighbor, 02 Nov 2015King of fragility, king of less features, king of less options, and king of pen storage design flaw. And King of all phones.

i think that note 4 and note 5 are beautyfull but note 5 has back more scratch proof material because it`s made of glas, i have note 3 neo and i like it because it has enynos 5 octa(hexacore) 2gb ram, 16gb ssd, bt/nfc, and important IR BLASTER & DLNA only note 3 /neo has that IR blaster , none of these has (note 4,5), and has always mine super active matrix organic light emmiting diode(amoled) or (oled) basically
do dont waste youre time go for note 3 neo!!! best so far!!!!!

AnonD-460014, 02 Nov 2015At some point, you are absolute right in your own way of thinking. But to me, it probably make... moreOf course the Note.5 will feel snappy against a Note 2 - I had the Note 2 for 9 months before switching to the Note 3 as it had LTE, infrared remote capabities, better battery. My wife has it now, and about a 3 months back, I bought her two new battery sets because the over 2-year-old batteries started showing signs of buldging - all batteries degrade over time, and there is no exceptions even in storage. That is why you need to even check the date of manufacture. Here's a picture of one of the old batteries:
Yeah, if you aren't into having bigger files storage, your service gives you no problem in internet speeds to get your cloud-based data and streaming anything, always carry a bag for your charger/powerbank/charger pad/wires (because it's a normal stylish thing), don't mind having to thicken your device with protective case, and did not ever use the remote controller - great for the "normal" use, and great for blending in with the rest of Nikki Minaj crowd. Notice how the commercials have toned it down to the greater mass with shallower thinking like which to choose, as opposed to a more intelligent and more "er, I can do better" commercials from last year?
It's less in features, less in options, more fragile, and that pen storage design flaw aren't what I expect for a Galaxy Note - this was suppose to be my "free" upgrade from my subscription renewal. I'll be paying for the same service price any other way, might as well get a device which is "free". I'm here to to help stir Samsung to stop making crappier design for the next generation. If they still will be doing what they're doing with the S7, then that's the indication that I get the Note 4 instead, even with a less powered processor than the Note.5. I'm hoping any other company can step up with another smartphone with a digitizer pen.

The phone, which I beta tested is far better than its predecessors minus the memory thing, but even that is better when it comes to transferring instances. Android lags due to the type and amount of memory used. This phones comes with a full 4GB that has little time for lag in any situation. The battery, while smaller, lasts longer than the bigger note 4, due to the processors architectural setup.
