Note 5 did not need removable battery & a micro sd card slot to be successful.and that's a fact.
esc, 01 Nov 2015Everything looks superb...size, resolution, s-pen functionality. BUT not having a card slot is... moreAnd Samsung didn't even offer a 128GB entirely. Once confirmed, I got myself a 128GB micro SD card for my Galaxy Note 3 - not buying something that you have to endure carrying OTG flash drive for more storage that sticks out, or carry wireless hdd with only 4 hours of worked operation connection with its battery. Worse part is Samsung is only offering the 64GB version only in some countries, and in limited stocks.
Note.5 is less of its features than previous generations - let them suffer for this, and it's showing with their layoffs.
the cpu is octa core not Quad core....
between Sony Z5 and note 5, which one better and good?
Great phone just bought it yesterday
AnonD-22824, 01 Nov 2015Note 5 did not need removable battery & a micro sd card slot to be successful.Would have been more useful, and versatile.
AnonD-22824, 01 Nov 2015Wow what a long and boring essay! But why am i dozzing off? LOLProbably because you don't read much.
Everything looks superb...size, resolution, s-pen functionality. BUT not having a card slot is unforgivable in my opinion. Companies will charge you >$100 for going from 32 to 64Gb internal storage when a micro-SD of 128 Gb costs $50 (that´s a ratio of 8X of Gb/USD). Too much for me and enough for making me go with some other less pricey option.
Note 5 did not need removable battery & a micro sd card slot to be successful.
Iuse Samsung galaxy note 2 it is awesome phone now I buy this great phone this is superb phone it's working excellent ilove it
Best phone ever made, bar none. Apple needs to buy one of these for each engineer, and make them focus on it, while building the iPhone 7 plus. Pay Samsungs price, and copy the s-pen Apple.
AnonD-434876, 31 Oct 2015What's the best smartphone for listening to music???!!!! Moto X Style? It's got some nice speakers.

I have pushed my Galaxy Note devices- Split screen, Chromecasting, note taking, SideSync remote, Bluetooth earpieces (1 have 4), infrared remote control tv and projectors, wifiDiect file transfers, heavy games, LTE/NFC/Bluetooth on all the time, even getting the highest micro SD card capacity for practical media storage, and yes, even a smartwatch before... practically everything except having to plant chargers everywhere. And you think I'm just a media hoarder?

Like the heart rate monitor, S Health, S Calender Samsung Pay and pair it with smartwatch too. Use bluetooth headset for musics. Using apps that is not used by average users like proffessional photo editing apps, camera apps, video apps. Tinkering with the camera apps manually for maximise usage. Using stylus to draw creative media for presentation and signing pdf files. Having multiple charger everywhere including house and office also considered as power user. Constantly connected and posting into multiple social media apps like Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and WeChat. Heavy gaming with high quality setting. Dowloading HD games. Always using GPS whenever driving with LTE connectivity. Push everything to the cloud once internal storage is full. That is how I defined a power user. Hoarding data and media? That is just average users.
I'm totally dissatisfied with note 5 .. They have so many problems 1. Screen freezing 2. Wifi drop 3. Laggy 4. Camera not working properly I'm regret my decision......... I go back to iPhone 6s plus ...
Anonymouses, 31 Oct 2015That is not what a power user do. That just media and documents hoarding. Well, your reason is... moreSo, what is your idea of what a "power user" is?
I can consume 6GB daily when I need to, use over 10 hours screen on time daily, always have my bluetooth earpieces connected for all my phone calls and audio, use LTE hotspot about a third of the time, and I don't carry a powerbank.
Of course brand new Note 4 now is like 40% less in price. Yeah, like 80 GB of HDD space for PCs in 2003 was a standard. Now we can have 6GB per HDD if you need to. Someone here pointed out he downloads 15GB per movie. Yeah, 32GB is like a limit we can live by.
