PARAG B, 27 Sep 2015Yeh man the fornt looks almost like the note2, however the note5 is completly diffrent animal :)Because it has less features, more fragile, and flawed S Pen silo design.

PARAG B, 26 Sep 2015See thing with plastic for me is like this, its a good material ,however it lacks the premium ... moreTempered chemical strenthened glass is clear, slippery, still prone to breakage, fingerprint prone, and has already even been abandoned for rears of iPhones. It's just the ideal material for front capacitive interface for fingers to glide over, and adding MORE glass material at the back is just doubles the chances for breakage - that's why they gave you a free insurance for a year. Yeah, you like waiting for your phone to get fixed. Make sure you drop yours within the year without your plastic casing.

Clear plastic acrylic yellows, scratches easily, and become brittle over time - there's nothing good about it if you're trying to impress people. Think clear plastic rulers - they're made of the same material.

It won't scratches and also replaceable. Except that the leather wear out really quickly and absorb sweat too much.

Jacki, 26 Sep 2015Buy note 4 guys cheaper same spec. Bigger battery n external memory slotNew touchwiz interface is the only reason i would prefer the note5 over note 4 and the galaxy s6 over s5.

A tpu case offers nice protection for your device but at the same time dust accumulates in the sides and it might scratch the device. Removing the case, cleaning it and then applying it back to the device is also not a feasible solution. You are increasing the chances of the dust to scratch the sides due to friction. I saw this happen on my friend's galaxy s6.

If i go for a hard case, then the case might form scratches on the device while installation.

And if i dont use a case at all, i fear i might drop it and cause more damage than mere scratches.... Maybe i have OCD with the phone's design

I'm using a moto g 3rd gen and i still put a case on it since the chrome sides started flaking off on its own. I know it's a budget phone and it doesn't have a good design but once my device starts getting scratches and dings on it, i dont feel like using it. I'm sure many people can relate to this...

Why Samsung is offering One time Screen Replacement free with Note 5 & other smartphones like s6 series? They have Gorrilla 3 scratch & impact resistant screen, right ? Or even the gorrilla glass can be broken ?

The Note 3 & 4's backs are really much more grippy - I actually liked how the S5's back felt in the hand. All of these can be placed with metal bumpers, and the backs sides exposed without adding extra thickness. This simply can't be done with the Note.5 at all - one drop, 90% chance it gets a crack.

Really ironic that users just cover that glass most likely, rendering the shiny glass & gold color out of sight, and totaly useless point in the design.

I rather use silicone casing. Even if my phone is made of unbreakable plastic. I hate seeing scratches on my phone. I wonder why they stop using leather or pleather. It is both scratch resistant and crack-free.

It makes LESS sense to put glass at the rear, increasing breakage by another 100% - really pushing the need for any protective casing. So much for it being so thin and shiny glass. This is what underpowered users want.

Anonymous, 23 Sep 2015My question to Samsung. They can manufacture incredible flash memory, ram, and A9 processor fo... morethat's probably one of the reason why samsung won't make something that would bring iphones down to its knees, that's business. that is where it boils down to. hardware-wise, samsung without any question can beat apple (talking about smartphones). software-wise, i don't know. the reason why iphones are faster is because their OS and apps are designed to work with their hardware. it's like they were designed together. android isnt' designed by samsung, not optimized. so to overcome the mismatch, they're packing their phones with hardcore hardware.
