Having equipment doesn't make you an artist, just like having a word processor doesn't make you a writer.
No SD card, and the chipset is Exynos, Non-removable battery, so the battery gets damaged and you have to buy another note, cool, .I.

Angelos, 02 Sep 2015From bad to worse... I would love to upgrade my Note3. But Samsung bitterly failed with Note ... moreHow did Samsung fail with the Note 4? It's better than the Note 3 in almost every aspect (higher screen resolution, faster chipset, better front/rear camera, Quick Charge 2.0, etc.). The only thing the Note 3 has over the Note 4 is microUSB 3.0. I think you're being bias since you only have the Note 3.
You guys still fighting about this phone specs? Get over it. It is IFA 2015. Look at the nee Huawei MateS with Force Touch technology. Look at the Acer Predator gaming phablet with Helio X20 deca-core processor. Then, the world first 4K display with 806ppi, Sony Xperia Z5 Premium which also come with 200GB expandable sd slot. Your lost Sammy fanboy.

or if you want 4100mah battery & USB 3.0(Type C), just go for Lenovo ZUK Z1!!!!
TheNeighbor, 02 Sep 20155 hours of screen time? How about 8 hours with the Note 3, heck even with the Note 2:
http:... moreIam using dual sim LG G4...and iam very happy with it...
I was using note 4 duos and got same screen time...soo for me G4 is perfect....
From bad to worse...
I would love to upgrade my Note3. But Samsung bitterly failed with Note 4 and Note 5.
vs my Note 3.
No microSD card slot ( I already have 128gb +32 gb internal in my Note 3)
The battery is not user-replaceable
No IR port (!!!)
USB 2.0 vs USB 3.0
Any suggestions for other devices / manufacturers?
What irks me is that even though it's a minor feature, omitting the infrared remote function means I'd have to go to our custodian where I work, surrender my id, and fill up paper so I can have the TV remote.
IR is still with even the S6 and S6 Edge - why in the World did anyone in Samsung decided "not in the Note.5 or the Edge+"?
I'd have to say all these reduced features are for the iPhone users, or plain people who do not how tech works. Even the switch to nano SIM is to accommodate iPhone users to simple have no trouble to switch.

So you need to use your phone as a remote control? So you need to use y... moreWhat is up with you?
I'm out of the house like 14 to 15 hours at times. What's up with me is that I also use it as my main source of entertainment, communications, information downloading content on LTE, always connected to my Bluetooth earpiece and I can consume up to more than 150GB monthly.
Just because you don't do it, doesn't mean we have to follow how you use your limited usage habit
It's about options, and user control. Even if you don't swap batteries often, you got an option to just change it once it starts acting up. Even the option of third party extended batteries like Zerolemon for long usage for traveling. And that screen is mightily great fit watching the tons of media stored in the micro SD card.
