Yeah Same issue i am also facing i have this mobile note 5 since 1 year and Peel-off of samsung golden lamination on the upper top left portion of the screen, the area where front camera and ambient sensors are placed.

Proven in XDA forums. It's manufacture fault. Protector just cant make that impact alone. Try to put back and forth protector on any other samsung model 50 times and it just wont happen luls. I am going to buy this phone anyway soon, tho i will put some glue in that area instantly or etc.

Note 5 is still very good with Android 7.0. With any Galaxy phone you can change to performance mode and set the resolution to 720p, so gaming performance is still good on the Note 5. Biggest negative of the Note 5 is lack of microSD slot.
S7 have somewhat better camera and microSD support, but a smaller screen and no S-Pen.
I would take Note 5 64gb version over S7. But I would take S8 over Note 5.

The note 5 is a fantastic phone. It's very future proof. Once you have nougat on it, you're golden!!

I have tried to find the software for upgrade my note 5 (Sm-N920F) to nougat 7.0, but i don't find any software for doing the upgrading.
Do you have any solutions for this, please?

This is insane, first of all, to be honest I changed my screen protector only twice since purchase...
At the time of selling the phone, the samsung boys themselves insisted to put a screen protector to safeguard the screen..
And now they are blaming the screen protector, just because there is no evidence/sign of any physical damage, are they kidding with me ?
Can anyone tell me, can a screen protector be blamed for Peel-off of samsung golden lamination on the upper portion of the screen, the area where front camera and ambient sensors are placed..?

Serious Issue :
I have a Galaxy Note 5 duos 64gb (N9208), all of a sudden at the top left corner the golden part of the screen started peeling off.
It never dropped, never had any kind of accident or pressure.
When I visited the service centre they refused to repair it under warranty.
When I asked them to find a single sign/evidence if any scratch/dent or physical damage , they could not find a single one.
Now they are saying that this Peel-off happened due to frequently changing the screen protector.
This is insane and completely illogical.
I am moving to consumer court in India, it has become a trend in India to loot the people in the name of physical damage, Liquid damage, Pressure damage.
If anyone else suffered any such problem like, screen peeling, paint peeling, please let me know..

Are you getting it just for the big screen?
If so then grab yourself a S6 Edge Plus.
If you're going to utilize the pen and features of the note 5, then go ahead and grab the Note 5 instead.
