AnonD-681216, 01 Jul 2017hi i need help, which phone to buy samsung s7 edge or samsung note 5 ??I had a choice between the Galaxy s8 and the note 5 i went the note 5 cause its a beast of a phone for the price and is still a top of the range phone today. The newer phones will even struggle to compete with the note 5 and its about half the price of the s7 at the moment. I love this phone does everything i need it to do and the camera is practically the same one thats in the s7...Id go with the note 5 if i was you :)

So i have decided to fight in consumer court. Brother its not about money, its about service which we deserve after paying huge amount in the name of service and brand.

Yeah Same issue i am also facing i have this mobile note 5 since 1 year and Peel-off of samsung golden lamination on the upper top left portion of the screen, the area where front camera and ambient sensors are placed.

AnonD-657010, 22 Jun 2017Today I received a reply from Samsung delhi office, they said this peel off is because of freq... morejust tell them that this note5 has global issue and everyone has it after 9months of use. Proven in XDA forums. It's manufacture fault. Protector just cant make that impact alone. Try to put back and forth protector on any other samsung model 50 times and it just wont happen luls. I am going to buy this phone anyway soon, tho i will put some glue in that area instantly or etc.

Note 5 is still very good with Android 7.0. With any Galaxy phone you can change to performance mode and set the resolution to 720p, so gaming performance is still good on the Note 5. Biggest negative of the Note 5 is lack of microSD slot.
S7 have somewhat better camera and microSD support, but a smaller screen and no S-Pen.
I would take Note 5 64gb version over S7. But I would take S8 over Note 5.

Anonymous, 23 Jun 2017Is it looking transparent after peeling off?No, its looking like a kind of shiny oil stuck in between.. More like a air bubble, but when pressurized, it moves !

The note 5 is a fantastic phone. It's very future proof. Once you have nougat on it, you're golden!!

I have tried to find the software for upgrade my note 5 (Sm-N920F) to nougat 7.0, but i don't find any software for doing the upgrading.
Do you have any solutions for this, please?
