I am not particularly impressed with Note-5 specifications, having owned the original Note, Note 2, Note 3 and Note 4.
However, I am not sure, why so much displeasure being shown for not having a removable battery? How many of us have changed the battery anyway?
Also, built-in 64GB storage is better, 128GB would have been awesome. I find problems with images stored on the removable storage media. It is not reliable and sometimes images are not readable if you wish to download to a PC. This is in spite of using an expensive Samsung 64GB microSD card.
I am sure, the only upgrade we can expect in Note 6 would be 3200mAh battery and a 128GB storage option. That is all.
I feel, mobile phones are reaching end of their imagination and useful features. Feature models would have cosmetic changes only.
AnonD-432949, 23 Aug 2015Has anyone actually used this device??? So many opinions .. omg..i bought the device 3 days ago and i am actually an iPhone big fan but to tell the truth this note 5 is a beast and i really loved using it. very powerful very attractive design, Great work Samsung
Anonymous, 23 Aug 2015This Note 5 is just 70% complete, Don't worry with all the bashing Samsung is getting it will ... moreIt's that time I will need to upgrade from the Note 3, and was really looking forward to the Note 5. I love the fact that I would have a better processor, bigger RAM, new internal UFS memory, a fingerprint scanner.
Not so with all the silliness of a sealed battery (good for probably a year, you'll really need to carry a powerbank), fast/wireless charging (the faster to ruin the battery), glass back (forget about thin outer skins, you need an Otterbox), no memory expansion (you'd need an OTG, wireless HDD, cloud services), and no IR remote control (I'd have to go to the custodian to get the projector remote control).
I'm up for a free device for the renewal of my LTE service, and what's even worse, THERE IS NO 64GB variant of the Note.5!
Well, thanks to Samsung! Now, waiting for a price cut of Galaxy NOTE 4. not for this one... :D
The real superphone from Samsung. The best phablet forever and ever...
Anonymous, 23 Aug 2015Your link doesn't work. LG G4 is still a korean phone. Going back to zero.I completely agree. They all about marketing. Leather on LG G4 deteriorate within 2 months of usage. Many are complaining and switching to the normal back cover. Absolutely going back to zero.
I would so get one if I had lots of money :), I have entered a competition to win one xD so hopefully will win it Cx
AnonD-432949, 23 Aug 2015Has anyone actually used this device??? So many opinions .. omg..Exactly. No one buys Note5. 90% complain without buying and 2% good feedback from actual people who bought it. I say, give it a year and see how many bought this. They will come back here and give us real feedback.
tyhabib, 23 Aug 2015The new design concept is what Samsung missed for long finally a premium feel and beast perfor... morei hate how the damn samsung phones have no micro sd card slots anymore what the hell is wrong with u samsung
Anonymous, 23 Aug 2015Your link doesn't work. LG G4 is still a korean phone. Going back to zero.Link is working fine...i checked
What u mean by korean...then whats is samsung...its korean too
LG G4 is way better coz i have always been using nokia and samsung phones and even used htc and sony
But trust me i brought lg phone 1st time and iam totally loving it
End of the day what matters is not numbers but how the phone performs on daily basis . in videos u can see how lg g4 works better with snap 808 and 3gb ram.
The camera is the best...sd card and removable battery
I think samsung should launch note 5 plus with 3500 mah battery and sd card slot and we will happily buy it
This Note 5 is just 70% complete, Don't worry with all the bashing Samsung is getting it will come out clean with a fully packed Note 6 with all the enhanced features. I thought the Note 5 will be a striking upgrade of the note 2,3, and 4 it's just physical differences, screen resolution and camera pixels. A flagship phone with no Fm radio, memory card slot, sealed battery, limited storage of 64 gig.. My opinion it's backward it's not a proper upgrade from the previous generation.
AnonD-432949, 23 Aug 2015Has anyone actually used this device??? So many opinions .. omg..Read gsmarena review... It is an amazing device
the only improvement that I could see on this above note 4 was the front camera and the RAM and a little bit of CPU which are worse than useless in real life using it. apparently Samsung only released this just to fulfill the gap for its release date they had every year.
tyhabib, 23 Aug 2015The new design concept is what Samsung missed for long finally a premium feel and beast perfor... moreI totally agree with you,No more professional camera needed! Thank you Samsung! I am not going to buy Nikon, Sony, Canon or any other professional camera, no more bulky big camera which never fits to bag! I always used my samsung galaxy s4 for taking photos! But now, raw files will be much better! R.I.P professional cameras, end of their era, welcome to future!
No more professional camera needed! Thank you Samsung! I am not going to buy Nikon, Sony, Canon or any other professional camera, no more bulky big camera,
The new design concept is what Samsung missed for long finally a premium feel and beast performance as usual , if you come from note 4 the striking difference is the materials and design if you love photography you may leave your camera at home to rest in peace
Manual focus , exposure metering , wonderful tracking AF and RAW support are few of the excellent features in a pocket camera images are detailed and Samsung over saturation is gone. This is the phone of the year finally well done Samsung
Was anticipating the release. Ruined all my wishes to buy. No memory card slot, no user replaceable battery. Note series was providing all i needed until note 5. Praised all Note devices before, owned note 1 and note 3, planned to buy the note 5. Now I wouldn't
Hope this would be seen by Samsung.
