Ron, 27 Aug 2015I have been a note an apple fan both, i just bought note 5 and i can tell you its Brilliant, t... moreI suggest you read up on how rechargeable batteries work. You should know they degrade in terms of their ability of holding electrical charges. Read the manual.

I just bought my 4th and 5th battery, while I'm retiring my first two ones as they aren't performing like giving me 7 to 8 hours of screen time first few months. Now they can only cater some 3 to 4 hours of screen time. This is because I can consume up to 150 GB of days monthly SOMETIMES.

REMOVABLE batteries need not be all about heavily using your device. It's also about efficient maintenance so that you get the best possible charge hold in the long term. Each battery have some 300 to 500 battery charging cycles. An I making it up? Read battery universit dot com. Type battery cycles. Type fast charging. You'll see how truthful what I'm writing here.

That sealed battery will not give you the option of inspections, if it is starting to bulge out. Imagine it bulging inside that sealed phone in a few months' time.

I'm pretty sure that I'm getting above 90% efficiency half the year, and have no need to keep plugging in my Note 3 when power of low. You can't day that with the Note.5.

Fast charging? 90 minutes for a full charge? I get 20% battery to 100% in a minute after swapping batteries. I usually charge the spent one with a desktop cradle charger at home, or with the power bank in my bag. So, practically I have ZERO charging time.

You should know that most Note user in UK is older people age 30+. This is based on polls. Studies have also been conducted and iphones are popular among youngster age 16-23. I have been a note an apple fan both, i just bought note 5 and i can tell you its Brilliant, the Speed is super fast,
camera is undoubtedly the best in the class,
spen features are really smart and really highly productive (specially to write on Screen when you pop out the pen)
Battery has been smarter than NOTE4, Surprisingly!
It feels so premium in hand & surprisingly its lighter and thinner than note 4 with more power.
It has got good headphones (much more like iphone)
                Finger Print has been improved.

There are people who says that it does not have SD Card and Removable battery, but i think so days are gone for that phone, as if the phone has to be Slim it has to go without 2 of this feature.

I dont know why some one needs a removable battery?
For SD Card u can have devise of 128 GB ( i bought 32, i dont keep crap in my phone)

Overall folks this Phone is a mix of

Productivity + Style + Entertainment + Power house (that you dont get in any phone)

                Go for it.

Yes the direction to go is Hwawei Mate 8 or LG G4. Forget about Note 5 or S6 Edge + They are overpriced. There was an article in CNN pointing out why Samsung now is making Hand Phones without Memory Card Slot following Apple foot step. They want to rip you off for more money. To make a Hand Phone with a built-in Memory of say 128GB it only cost them $44.00 extra (16GB - $7.58) but they will charge you for $200.00 more. Why would they want to continue to provide you with Memory Card Slot. A good Marketing Strategy and they give you reason that with Memory Card it will slow down the Phone. What a Crap! Now we know why Apple refuses to make Phones with Card Slot so that they can make so so so much more money from you. Samsung now learn the Trick from Apple to boost up their Profit Margin.

Great phone! I hate that the battery is non-removeable, though.

Guys, I found out how to unlock Note 5! Put your S-Pen backwards, and the phone will show you a "Unlock succeeded" message.

Guys newaz note 5 is out and now nothing can be changed. If u like it buy it or look for an alternative. I brought LG G4 and sold my note 4 dual sim which had only 16 in built memory.
All i hope is samsung learns its lesson and gives us note 5 plus with 3500 mah battery and sd card slot and maybe metal back than glass and dual sim version in most countries
Asus has launched 128gb inbuilt memory with sd card slot...and even 256gb inbuilt memory.
                              So why cant samsung

Not worth buying the Note 5, the differences regarding to the Note 4, a little more speed of micro and secondary camera is 5MP, no memory expansion.

After reading both phone's specification...I'd rather keep my Note 4, than upgrading to Note 5, coz Note 5 the battery is non removable and most of their specifications are the same...aside from the front camera coz Note 5 is 5mp and Note 4 is 3.7mp....and the rest are most likely the same...
