[deleted post]Note5 could have an upgrade to Note4 if they increased the battery to 3,500mah even if sealed is ok, Also if they kept the micro sd slot.

It doesn't have an FM radio. Sounds weird? It may. But still, it's a deal-breaker for me.
      I'll go with the M9.

I'm greatly hoping that these are valid questions. What percentage of digital cameras or even digital SLR cameras in today's market (August 2015) do not have microSD slots (expandable storage) ? ?

Also, what top selling camera does not have user replaceable batteries ? ?

Why would desktops or laptops (today) need more than 200 gigabytes of hard drive storage ? Why do "cloud" services even exist ? ?

oh,...by the way... I've never owned a Samsung smartphone or an iPhone. I just saw no need to buy one and my options of other smartphones seem to have a bigger bang for my usage and productivity skills.

I think Samsung is not interested in taking care of its loyal customers, rather it is trying to attract iPhone customers by presenting photocopies of iPhone in the market. I can not understand why did they mess up with Note series. They already experimented with their flagship S series by using premium materials and eliminating removeable battery and SD card. It was a fair decision to do so with S series perhaps. Note is phablet family and these are not meant for everyone but for a specific class of people. So eliminating best features of Note is not a sane move by Samsung. I need to upgrade my Note 2 but I cant choose between Note 4 and Note 5 now. Can someone advise me?

And the only reason the S6 Edge is selling better is it's something different and has that novelty value.

There was a time when Samsung would make an effort to ATTRACT new customers. Now, they are big. So why make an effort? Repackage the S6 and give it to the suckers, they will buy. Take away the removable battery so the suckers will come back in 1 year with a dead battery for a new phone (or a $150 battery replacement). Take away the SD card, the suckers don't need it. Well, this sucker is running away from Samsung as fast as he can!

I mainly use micro SD cards for media. And you can actually encrypt your micro SD card anyway. I pretty much know project files to be on my laptop hard drive, encrypted, and backed up on cloud.

Why is it so impossible to consider a smartphone like a Galaxy Note to being a small computer that does so much? It's small enough to who out of your pocket. And I can understand the resistance in keeping hundreds of gigabytes of media miraculously on a tiny media card? I wouldn't be surprise 256GB micro SD cards come out soon.

Yeah phones should have more internal memory but they should also have an SD slot so you can keep all your media and whatever on the SD and use the phone's internal memory for apps etc. Because it is incredibly dumb to say SD slots should be removed as it just makes unnecessary restrictions.
