But I think this Note 5 could have come with waterproof. Too much money is involved in this phone. I am trying to figure out the impact this phone could have once you get a water damage. While a 4 time cheaper phone does received the waterproof. Let us be honest the bigger battery, much powerful CPU, SD slot and waterproof could make this phone the best ever.
Anonymous, 20 Aug 2015And yet people like you still come here to comment on this phone. Curiosity kills the cat. What is wrong with you. I notice so much negatives comments although the Galaxy Note 5 is the number 1 in daily interest. And compare it to the number 2 daily interest the Moto G3 which is 4 times cheaper than the GNote 5 but having the specs that are missing the waterproof and SD slot. So in which way I come here to kill the chat?
Or should I say the GNote 5 is the best? Maybe that will not kill the chatting. But the problem is not me but the 80% of people that comment negatively that are the problem and yourself. If you have a positive attitude and comment about this phone, then say it.
Guys please don't hate it.
First, About Note 4 Vs Note 5. It's next generation, of course Note 5 is better.
The CPU is different, GPU, RAM, Feature (Wireless Charging/ FAST).
Second, Note 4 Users like to use 2 batterys to swap each other with full one. it is good.
In Note 5, you don't need 2 batterys, it is Li-Po. I don't talk about battery life or swap method. I talk about battery degradation. Samsung tend to use Li-Ion but now Samsung uses Li-Po. I think there is a good reason in it. Like Li-Po is better than Li-Ion in Battery
Degradation, also It's match with Wireless Charging Feature. If Wireless Charging meet
Li-Ion, What will happen? No Good. So, samsung made difficult decision, to use removable
Li-Ion with cable to charge, or to use non-removable Li-Po with Wireless Charging.
Which one do you like? Wireless or Cable? I know if you choose cable you prefer it to swap the battery. Swap battery is not a feature in samsung, it's our daily life feature that we made ours.
Third, IR Blaster, I don't know why samsung remove it. I'm sorry.
Fourth, the glass back panel is happened by taste, what I mean is that leather doesn't look premium for many users, thats why samsung choose glass. of course glass isn't good for drop test than leather. but some user said that it's good for wireless charging.
Fifth, SD Card. it's about speed in SD Card that slower than UFS 2.0 (Internal Storage) not only that, SD Card can't save file 4GB or more in single file. in near future, you will need 4GB or more to save in single file.
I'm not right in everything, but at least this is the right one in my opinion. Of course, I know there is many other opinion out there, so for my bad comment, I want your forgiveness.
Anonymous, 20 Aug 2015And yet people like you still come here to comment on this phone. Curiosity kills the cat.If people don't complain when manufacturers (Samsung) release products (GN5) that have weaknesses (storage and battery) then nothing gets fixed...
it was a good inprove about a Non-removable Li-po battery for the customer security but it still has the unsecure OS android.. another things 3 000 mAh really ?.. it needs at least 5 000 or 8 000 mAh people uses the phones alot! samsung phones still plastic desponsible phones like lg htc etc.. untill they uses their own secure OS and amazing non removable batery then it would beat definetely iphones.. and ill be proud to have a galaxy but right now.. Android? no thanks

AnonD-77443, 19 Aug 2015Get the GN4... It is a great device. I have owned all 4 notes. I'm skipping the GN5 and hoping... moreYes man. LG is better in this regard. But its stubborn character at 3 Ampere battery gives worst backup in G3 and G4.
Wow, I wonder what possible reason Samsung engineering had for getting rid of the exp slot? I have the Note 3 and comparing the two side by side the only differences that I think I'd notice in day to day use would be the higher pixel density. Maybe the extra gig of RAM. Hardly a compelling argument. I'm ready to upgrade. I went with the Notes because of their big screens. They're stuck at 5.7 which is decent but I want even bigger. That 6.4in Sony Xperia is looking mighty nice...
TheNeighbor, 19 Aug 2015Stop. Just stop making rationalization for Samsung making the "highest-end" have the... moreIf you change the battery within 6 months, it is still free. You don't need to pay anything. It is considered as a faulty phone and works with warranty. Your logic is still invalid regarding they want us to keep buying. The battery university thing has got to stop. They only tell you general knowledge of battery. It is not specific to the battery Samsung developed themselves. Li-ion and Li-Po is different by the way.
sanjay, 19 Aug 2015Note4 is far better than note5 i think just one difference is RAM 3GB against 4GBNote 4 is carp comprate it even to S6 leave a lone note 5. Used to own both variant of note Exyonse and SD 805 not as fast and smooth as S6 due to the SD card the effect the performance.
This phone is number 1 in daily interest but it is a fake number 1 because 80% of negative comments about the phone makes it number 1. While such a high end phone doesn't have waterproof and no SD slot memory, the very low and 4 times cheaper Motorola Moto G3 does have the waterproof, SD slot but ranking number 2 with 80% of positive comments.
It's clear that Samsung is playing around with people money. Never I'll buy such a high end phone.
note4 seems better but not by far, the note5 has some nice tricks that i've seen and really i like. But what lets the note5 down is the fact that is has no micro sd card slot, i find that ridicules and upsetting. and you can't change the battery
Meladyx, 19 Aug 2015It has infinite contrast because black pixels don't actually light up. You're mistaken.True, however, there are special occasions that black pixels can light up. Meizu MX5 uses Super Amoled with a contrast ratio of 10,000:1.

If you release an ordinary product they will criticise you... Doesn't matter if you are Samsung apple or whatever... (I have used Samsung for 5 years, Apple for 2 years before that and Nokia for a decade before that)

Seems Time to get away from Note Series.. I was expecting Note 5 to be released water resistant which they didn't plus they removed

Now i feel that soon there is gonna be no difference in Samsung and Apple -_-
