TheNeighbor, 18 Aug 2015I already tested it out. Trust me, not missing out on anything on a Note.5 (NotePOINTfive)... ... morePut the soul of iphone in the Note. Nice one. Maybe Steve Jobs came back and posesses Samsung CEO.

TheNeighbor, 18 Aug 2015I already tested it out. Trust me, not missing out on anything on a Note.5 (NotePOINTfive)... ... moreUFS 2.0 doesn't make any difference when transferring files as obviously the Note's being throttled with only USB 2.0 connection, but it does help reduce lag as every type of flash memory starts to lag as you fill it with lots of files and simultaneously run many files, but UFS 2.0 is faster so can run more at once without the phone slowing so is much better than old eMMC memory.
But that's still no excuse not to have an SD slot because the phone would only slow down if reading system files from SD card so wouldn't affect anything if you only store media files on it and don't move apps to the SD.

      *Its like apple iphone .
      *No sd card slot.
      *Non removable battery.
*lake of some note 4 options.
*Still not having more brightness in direct sunlight like apple iphone 6 plus display. But colour contrast is more than that.
*except s-pen work. Iphone 6plus is best .
*my opinion is wait for some more weeks because the next generation iphone will be release soon and price of the note 5 will be also reduce more and more.
      * apple iphone price will not be drop quikly like samsung.

Unbelievable... well, I guess I do believe it.
I guess my long run with Samsung is over...
No removable battery + No memory card slot = No more Samsung.
Will keep my Galaxy note 4 until I find something else...
I will hate giving up the S pen, but if I had wanted an iPhone, I'd have bought one.
You know Samsung, if you'd only taken one of those 2 things away... nah. never mind. I'd still leave the brand.

AnonD-77443, 18 Aug 2015Thanks Samsung but no thanks.... I'll stick with my Note 4, bigger removable battery, SD card,... moreI already tested it out. Trust me, not missing out on anything on a Note.5 (NotePOINTfive)... If you put a Note 4 side by side with it, and not know any of the specs, you can't tell which one has a better processor, or their milliseconds performance differences.

Battery testing by PA proves the Note.5 has only an increased 5% battery efficiency than a Note 4.

Drop test already shows glass back breaks at 1st drop try.

Who cares about UFS 2.0 internal memory as 3 times faster when Wi-Fi Direct or cabled connection to your laptop has no significant data speed rate transfer difference? Not with a micro USB 2.0 anyway for wired connection. Are we talking about how long a few GB of LIMITED file transfers? A few seconds difference going to kill anyone? I bet my USB 3.0 in my Note 3 is even faster.

Overall, NotePOINTfive is just a shiny hipster bling toy ATM. Samsung has taken out the soul of the Note series, and replaced it with an iPhone one.

What I liked: the touchwiz design & features + the 4GB RAM + screen resolution + the s-pen features.
What I Disliked: The non removable 3000 mAh battery + The iphone design + No SD card
To be honest my Note 4 32GB with me since December 2014 & never used an SD card for more memory space.

But I'm now confused to try the new experience with Note 5 or to keep on Note 4 ?????

From all the reviews I've read it seems this is literally the same screen as the Note 4 with no improvements at all, and if true that's the first time they've done that on any Galaxy phone.

Thanks Samsung but no thanks.... I'll stick with my Note 4, bigger removable battery, SD card, grippier back and better drop resistance.... I'm sure others will prefer GN5 benchmarks, better looks and a marginally better camera though.

I have a Note 4, if decide to change to a different phone it won't be a Note 5 due its lack of SD card slot and changeable battery.
In my opinion, a backward step and to rub salt in the wound, Samsung have neglected Note 4 users with updates and security patches.

OUTRAGUS!!! The info regarding the 128 GB memory size of the Note 5 is fub a mistake its not happening there will only be a 32 and 64 GB versions CNET wrote. And to top it all the Note 5 is not being launched in the UK. They have decided to launch the S6 edge + instead, bigger version of the S6 edge. Samsung your starting to disappoint not only me but others too.

Android is VERY smooth I love it.. however it does not have the longevety that Apple iOS or Blackberry OS has. Basically Android tends to age very badly. That being said I bought a Samsung GS6 HTC One M9 and LG G4 so I will test them see how long they last. These phones are a month old and so far so good.

Love the resistance WE are showing NOT buying into these phones. They purposely place these not good enough specs and purposly hold off on the good specs in hopes that they call it "an upgrade". That being said these phone companies are smart and unleash upgrades that eventually force us to upgrade.. But the battle and resistance lives on

Yes I am a Note user ever since the launch of the Note 3. I am not happy that they have decided to go down the Apple path. It says in the specs that there is a 32, 64 and 128 version of the handset. Unlike Apple Samsung do not launch all their versions at the same time, if at all. There was said to be a 64 version of the N4 but it never materialised. So would shops stock the 64 and 128gb versions of this handset. I remember the first Galaxy S in 8 and 16 GB the 8 GB version was stocked every were but 16 GB versions were very limited. Even though it has been listed in the spec there will be a 64 and 128 GB version I don't think we will see shops stocking them. I like the fact that I could expand the memory and carry a spare battery around, as the new Lollipop OS is awful to say the least.

I agree that one day sealed handsets will be the norm but not until the issue with batteries is finally resolved. Dare I say it although Samsung did this on the S6 and I heard a lot of people saying we are moving to Apple now. Why did they wait so long was my opinion. I tried the 4S could not get on with Apple as a one. So I chose Samsung over Apple it was tough as i had always been loyal to Nokia until Microsoft stepped in. So unless the other variants become available I'm sticking with my Note4.
