Even S8 only 12MP but it using f/1.7 lens, with super crystal-clear, impressive shot in low-light area. Even Note 5 has a 16MP but it only using f/2.0, i've test the camera and the camera not quite good in low-light mode, grainy pictures. Both S8 and Note 5
equipped with 3000mAh but S8 using Lithium-Ion with good battery lifespan while Note 5 only using Lithium-Polymer.

I need a phone w... morei am using note 5 and i will not lie to you or do any fanboyism. see note 5 is almost 1.5 years old now although it is fast, snappy and cheap now but there are faster phones out there today so you choose note 5 only on conditions that you can't stretch your budget and s-pen is a must for you. even if s-pen is must have why not wait for note 7 refurbished. now comparing android and ios is tough coz it depends upon individual needs but still a person who wants an iDevice will buy an iDevice even though all ports are absent so you answer your question. also there are different aspects on each ecosystem which is better than the other. s8 it is the biggest, the best, better than the rest phone right now. s8 is the best choice right now in terms of camera and battery life. regarding speed both iphone 7 plus and s8 are good but iphone does memory management a little bit better. i know nothing about huawei p10 plus. I am honestly thinking that samsung should not drop the note series. I wish they would still create one.

Reinn, 09 May 2017Did you try to turn off animation in the developers options? my office mate taught that to me... morei have been doing this since lollipop days i guess. setting animations,transitions to 0.5 makes any phone super smooth. i still wonder many people don't know this. after removing bloatware this is the 2nd thing i do after i buy a new android device.

Don't get this. Instead get S7 or S8, they are better and newer. Note 5 is now an old hardware, and will not get software support much either. The battery life is not reduced at all, it's the same. But there are newer phones.

It is a reliable phone
the update also have power saving mode
when my battery was 4% it kept working for almost 4 h, also battery charges so fast.
so no big deal.

Guys I'm thinking of getting this phone but after seeing people saying that after the new update its battery life has been reduced alot and also some other functional problems . If someone could give me a professional advice wether I should buy it or not
