Anonymous, 14 Aug 2015Here's my review on Note 5. It is better than expected and surprisingly more practical as a pr... moreHow much samsung pay u to write such a biased comment? Sure it has good looks, but its a phone designed to help u more productive, shouldve come with microsdcard, removable battery at least those 2 should present in an upgrade from previous version.
Samsung is doing the evil way of making profits like apple do, why would u even work on biased comment for this now evil company?
If u are a businesman, would u rather have a preety/handsome employee but very limited to resources (note5) or would u rather have employee who s appearance is standard but very high capacity of resources (note4/s5 or other phones with microsd and removable battery)
Samsung is as evil as apple now, switching to other phones that do hear their fans

radio will be Cat 9 LTE (I think I saw cat 6 somewhere in your early specs). frequency coverage per market remains unknown. would love some clarity soon on this folks!

Jhkr, 14 Aug 2015I don't think Samsung will bother Note series anymore, They only bother toy series like s6,s6 ... moreYes. Phone companies should always have NOKIA in mind and the lessons from that company.

To be honest, I am disappointed with Note5! I was so up to buy it, but now, I just dont know what to buy...

First of all S6 gets 128 gb storage, and Note5 32 gb? WTF? What device is going to be used and utilized more S6 or Note5???

              Three disapointments:
              No SD card - for device hungry for storage;
No 128 GB - same reason
No IR blaster - My God... NFC and IR blaster for lond was one of the most utilized features @ Android..

I use to like Samsung so much, now it just feels like a bit smarter Apple... S**t...

As for me Samsung got it wrong totally and I can begin to see the fall of Samsung soon. You listen to your customers u don't jst listen to yourself. The way you are liked you will be dislike if less is coming from you. We all known what happened to Nokia and what BlackBerry is facing. Now is coming to Samsung cos they failed to hearkened to customer pain. I don't really think Samsung hv a forum and to sees to opinions from people over d world. Like Microsoft did to Windows 10.Note 5 is no go area Note 4 is much far better. Samsung next plan is to stop producing note 4 in other to make way for Note 5.

                  Yes to note 4
                  BIG no to Note 5.

Lastly, Samsung should not forget competitors are really waiting to see them fail. Samsung weakness wil be an opportunity for others. You can't be a champion for ever. The end is coming to Samsung.

I supposed to be more upgrading from note 5, but when I compare to Note 4 all their specs are similar, ok, it's say 4 gig ram, but when it come to memory their no card slot!?... (huh!) I expecting more up-gradable not to down-gradable

[deleted post]I know him. Just a Samsung hater who extensively bad mouth Galaxy Note in general since last year. You'll see him scattered in the Note 4 page. He used to boast his imaginary Sony Z2/Z3. Note that the NotePOINTfive looks even better than that, he's now pretending like an Apple user.

That QWERTY physical keyboard cover for typo-free typing is like the most amazing thing ever!! Thank you Samsung for bringing back the good 'ol days of Nokia dumb phone input - it's going to make me so productive and fast with less errors in my typing my reports to impress my boss!

I wish this for all future Samsung phones! They're going to make a killer sales. I hope I get one soon!

im fine with no SD card
but Non-Removable battery totally deal breaker for me, im not that heavy user but im looking for a long lasting phone,
because basically battery died first then the phone( depend on how you use it )
i already have S5, Planning to upgrade into Much better phone, but S6, S6+ or Note5 is a big no no for me. i guess im going to nOTE 4 ( high end or the lumia 640XL mid range)

Here's my review on Note 5. It is better than expected and surprisingly more practical as a productivity tool compare to Note 4. This is the list of new feature introduced in the Note 5. The 4gb ram is already expected. There are a scroll capture screenshot feature for grabbing an entire website. The Spen note taking can be used without unlocking screen even when screen is turn off. You can write immediately on a black screen. Samsung also work with Montblanc, the luxury pen maker to build Spen for the Note.

The curved back is for easy one hand operation and prevent slipping. It comes with new Bluetooth 4.2. It have a larger screen to body ratio. Samsung offers a physical keyboard cover for typo-free typing. The glass back and front used the same shiny metallic type as S6 with new color. A not to be missed feature is the new in-built Youtube Live Broadcasting from within the camera app without downloading any apps or signing in to anything. You can now mark up PDFs and write on the screen. The new Air Command menu has blurs background for easy viewing. A fast wireless charging is also provided. 2 hours of faster wireless charging from 0% to 100%, up to 1A. It proudly support PMA and WPC wireless charging standard other than the common Qi standard. The battery is an unremovable 3000mAh similar to its sibling the Note Edge. Those who never kept a spare battery will go on not caring about it. A fingerprint sensors (non-swipe) is borrowed from S6. New faster LTE Cat9 modem.

That all just the start. Note 5 also mimics the magnetic strip on credit or debit card as Samsung Pay use MST to work with any mobile payment terminal even if there is no built in NFC in the terminal. The camera may have the same megapixel as S6 but it comes with different features. 5mp front. 16mp rear. Both comes with new VDIS+OIS feature for better stability and no more shaky video. The camera is acknowledge by DxOMark scoring. An F1.9 aperture ensure better lighting in photos with new auto real time HDR recording. Almost forgot, the new Spen is an ejectable Spen which is push to pull and also clickable at the top. So, is this still the same old Note 4 for you or will you upgrade? Can you still say your Note 4 can do all that too? The only downside is no removable battery amidst the 220mah less and no sd slot which is not much of a deal breaker with all this specs. Its not like you have much of a choice out there when it comes to a super powerful feature packed phablet with stylus. On top of that, expect an update from Samsung to Android M which is soon to be announce later this year.
