Anonymous, 13 Aug 2015Still using S2. Was going to buy S6, but decided not to because of Micro Sd and battery. Then ... morewhy get an iphone? lol still no removable battery and SD Card, plus the battery in the Samsung will be miles better than the iphone.
Anonymous, 13 Aug 2015Still using S2. Was going to buy S6, but decided not to because of Micro Sd and battery. Then ... moreYou do know The Iphone range has less internal memory then Samsung s6/s6edge/note5 and ypu have never been able to take the battery out of Iphones
Give the people what they want or face extinction.Locking down phones will not sell your products Samsung.People demand SD card slots and removable batteries. How stupid are you hurting your own sales. You have forgotten the golden rule.
i am very disappointed...with this specs, note 4 is more better than note 5..no sdcard really..???this is not an upgrade, this is the downgrade..
LOL..this is the news I am waiting for...been samsung user for 7 years loyally because of...SD slot, expandable storage to name the important aspects..now all these are gone...I might as well switch to iphone now. Samsung u should bench mark Chinese phone makers and rival them...not iphone..your shares will plunder further and iphone have not even release their flagship iphone 7 yet.
A Stupid and No Brain decision move by Samsung to discard the Memory Slot and removable battery option. What a trade in with losing all your Royal Customers worldwide.
Congratulation on your way down. I'll be switching to LG, Sony or HTC. Bye Bye
If Samsung still comes out with phone that is 32GB, and worst still, without sd slot, then what is the point ?
Other brands are putting in more powerful specs (internal & add-on memory, camera specs, faster processor etc) but Samsung is going backwards ?
If so, very disappointed with Samsung.
Going for other brands.
Samsung phone is not without problem anyway....
If almost all the fans of samsung want that note 5 comes with removable battery and changeablle memory cards why the company insists in missing these items from this phablet
Still using S2. Was going to buy S6, but decided not to because of Micro Sd and battery. Then waited for Galaxy, now it looks like it will not have the Micro SD and removable battery either. So.. no more waiting. iphone is next, my wife already got the latest one.
without sd card i am going to leave samsung ,
i prefer i phone than samsung 's no sd card phone
Samsung need to do the following to make this an exciting phone:
6 inch screen
Remove bloat wiz
3300mah battery minimum
Card Slot - Expandable storage
Instead of being trend setters they are being another sheep in the herd, congrats on losing your customer base.
Anonymous, 12 Aug 2015Remember last year..... Everyone said the Note 4 is the best... Well I own one and I say it is... moreI plan to buy Note 4 & I want to know why you said it worse? In terms of what?
I need all infos that I can get..tq
The worst mistake that Samsung did was removing the SD card slot, I mean that's what they accel at one point ahead of their competitors, now they are doing what it's lacking in it, I don't get it, the design is super slick and awesome, but removing the SD card slot? It's like building a cool tower but then removing the top of the tower
AnonD-428567, 12 Aug 2015Didn't Samsung already introduce this phone ( galaxy S6 )? Oh I'm sorry this is ground break... moreIn response to why people (the ones you call Samtards) buy these Samsung devices that are becoming more and more like Apple - which you imply they hate. I do agree that we buy Samsung devices because they are different from Apple's. Yes, we buy them because they have removable batteries and expandable memory. However, we also buy them because of the fact that it's an Android, and was one of the best flagship Android devices when comparing benchmark tests in terms of hardware.
TLDR: We buy Androids for a few reasons
1. Removable battery (I carry a spare and just replace when it's dead)
2. Removable Memory
3. Usually High end performance
4. Android (not stuck in Apple's Locked garden where you can't customize)
However...given the sad turn that Samsung has taken to copy Apple to appease those that always ask for a "Premium feeling phone" I will not be upgrading from my Note 3 to the Note 5. I expect innovation and improvements with new products...not downgrades.
Also in this day and age with our technological advancements, you're telling me you can't make a glass back/metal phone with a push button that pops open a removable memory card...similar to how apple's sim card is removed? You can't make a metal backing that pops open with a switch that removes a battery?
