Anonymous, 10 Nov 2021what does it mean that "custom binary blocked by FRP lock" and my mobile switch offThat means you had ROOTED your phone and something had changed in the kernel system which detected as custom, if you had rooted it before you must know how to turn it back, if you buy it rooted, too bad you must find through google how to fix it back

sometimes my phone does not want to charge I need to leave it there for one day before it can charge again soooo anoying

Part of my cell phone collection is note 5. And when i say collection, it means i have never thought of selling it to rid of or handing it down to someone else. Note 5 just like the rest in my collection is for keeps. Still content with the performance. The battery last 2 days in mid power saving mode, and the display remains one of the best. Still wont trade for overrated mid range made of plastic. Galaxy note 5 is metal with glass.

ColdplaySwifties13, 07 Feb 2021Samsung Galaxy Note 5 users in South Korea and Latin America received a surprise update in Dec... moreNot surprising, they knew because from the IMEI and anything else that make sure your device is still actively using and the series is still using by some people in high number, also because this series is for high end user especially for bussiness purpose that security is number one from hacker exploit, so the iPhone do the same, just release the 12.5.5 for 5S and 6 to fix the Pegassus exploit, if Apple saw the device with that os still using by the big number of users, they will release the most important security fix

Mehran, 27 Feb 2021I am wondering why Samsung don't give OS upgrades for this. at least update it to Android 8 .Because you must replace your phone to be updated to the new features and tech, silly but this is the strategy to maintain android brand revenue since there are a lot of android phone from any brand any series and high competition rather than iOS only with Apple, that’s why the android phone secondhand are falling faster than iPhone

Ab, 13 Aug 2021I have been using the phone for 5 years now, since 2016 .. it is still a great phone to use an... moreSame. Assuming my replacement battery doesn't degrade. If it degrades and stops holding a charge i might as well buy a new phone. I only buy a new phone when my old phone stops working or dies, or if its older than 6 years. I do this to prevent E-waste

I've had this for 6 years now ever since 2015, It's still fast and snappy, after 6 years of having this the screen has burn in. sometimes it randomly shuts down, overheats when recording a video or playing games.

Note5 still works great in 2021. No reason to update. How is mine still running so good? I tell you the secret. Some of you already know. Never install a SINGLE update. Never never update. That is how they slowly degrade your device.

this phone was released in 2015 and has a 2k display. still a good phone but it sometimes shuts off, battery life only lasts 1 - 2 hours. It heats up whenever i record a video.
