I have been a Samsung user because of two things: removable batteries and expandable storage. I am very careful with my devices, but no matter how careful I am there is nothing I can do about the battery. Samsung is easy because I just buy a replacement battery which can last me for 1.5 to 2 years at best. I'm never worried that I can give my Note 3 to my younger cousins because not only will it be in good physical condition, I can set it up with a fresh battery. With the direction Sammy is moving, it is no longer setting itself apart but becoming more and more like Apple. Unibody, metal everywhere, flat design, glass back, etc. Sure i can bring my S6/Note 5 to a service center just to change the battery but I doubt that would be cheaper than buying a new one and replacing them by myself. Tbh, aesthetics should not be the priority. Functionality and practicality should rule the game. Alas, even now Sammy is losing its following. Maybe it is time to jump ship too.
Didn't Samsung already introduce this phone ( galaxy S6 )? Oh I'm sorry this is ground breaking news. This phone here has a bigger screen, a little bit bigger battery, and 4 gigs of ram. Didn't One plus already introduce almost the same phone minus the stylus? Not to mention you could save about 500 dollars on the 64 gig model. I'm sure the Samtards will be bragging in a few months how this is the greatest phone ever. They constantly threw in your face how Samsung was the best because it has a removable battery and sd storage. I always thought Samsung hated Apple, this year truly proves how much they are trying to be like them. I'm NO Apple fan, but I would love for them to put out a commercial like them old Michael Jordan one's. The ones with the singing " I want to be like Mike ". Just curious Samboys, how come you all are still buying these devices with NO removable battery and NO sd storage? Why are you buying a device that's trying to be so much like the device you all despise??
No SD card no sale, I wonder if they'll update it with the S7 to have SD card and different specs? Long shot but can always hope.
Anonymous, 12 Aug 2015People STILL bitching about no SDcard slot!?!?!?! Theres more than enough services out there(... moreSounds like you just really don't understand anything. Maybe some day you will get a clue.....

Anonymous, 12 Aug 2015People STILL bitching about no SDcard slot!?!?!?! Theres more than enough services out there(... moreCloud storage doesn't work if your somewhere with no wifi or contract signal. My Iphone crapped out whilst I was on holiday a few years ago and I had neither wifi or a signal and lost 80% of my photo's and video's because I had no connection to Icloud or Dropbox so I moved to a Samsung so my photo's would save to a microSD and I wouldn't lose photo's/video's if the phone crapped out. Now Samsung are following Apple I'm now thinking of going for the LG G4 at my impending upgrade, looks like Samsung have run out of ideas
Anonymous, 12 Aug 2015Looks like I will be getting an iPhone, after being loyal to Samsung for almost 8 years.going to apple?
battery......not any better
expanded storage...... nope and less to start out with
wireless or fast charging?......nope
etc etc
Motorola x style/pure for the win.....for $300 cheaper
Anonymous, 12 Aug 2015totally agreed with digicall. so disappointed. no SD cardMe too... I was actually going to buy 2 of the Note 5's. But no sd card is a deal breaker for me. I will most certainly be looking elsewhere for my next phone.

Anonymous, 12 Aug 2015People STILL bitching about no SDcard slot!?!?!?! Theres more than enough services out there(... moreNo they are not bitching. If there is anyone bitching it would be your comment given the tone. You must be a very casual user to think people just need to move photos around. Large files such as an emulated game collection or HD movies are not easily or quickly downloaded from these services. In addition to that consider limited data plans.
No need for shouty caps, if you have an opinion post it by all means but not sounding like an imbecile.

AnonD-428443, 12 Aug 2015Whats the deal with the battery size? Different reports keep flip flopping between 3000mah and... moreI'm in the same boat I can look pass no SD but 3000mah definitely won't purchase the phone... Has to be 4100mah pr better
wow, these guys have lost themselves.... this just chip upgrade not a full cell
hmm looks like my money might go to Apple afterall. No Microsd and removable battery is fine by me but why would they shrink the battery capacity... The dumbest move made by Samsung. Wrong move Samsung
What's going on? 3000mah or 4100mah? I'm so confused, I could look pass no SD slot but a lower battery then the note 4 come on Definitely won't purchase if phone is release with 3000mah
I am pretty sure since there isn't an announcement yet, i am sure that the Note 5 will have a SD card slot but probably packaged in the same slot as the SIM card, I feel certain Samsung has to atleast keep one of the things that Consumers love about THEIR product.
IPhone for me too , why they do away with the card slot not a bright move😕
I can see the Battery life sucking😞
