chs, 21 Jan 2016"hi. can someone tell me is this phone dual active...? means can receive call on second sim du... moreFor the last three months, I have been using Galaxy Note 5 duos 64gb using the same Indian operating system (like the Chinese -- I bought it brand new via eBay at USD600 including shipping to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia), and both sims for phones work well, and have no issues whatsoever, except that Gujarati as the language is not available on Samsung Keyboard. If someone can tell me how to have Samsung Keyboard with Gujarati, please let me know.

I use a Samsung note 5.about 3 months.battery excellent.even though smaller battery long lasting.I'm a power user I get minimum 5_6 hours of life in 4g full brightness and full volume.if you put it in power saving mode you'll get double it.moreover I have spent full day in less than 20-25% in power saving mode.there is also ultra power saving mode.the camera is very very very good

32GB total???? Is that it???? Huge disappointment for an expensive phone like this.. no memory card expansion.. how much of it will even take preinstalled apps blah blah blah.. not at all will spend over 50k for it.. plz samsung just think over it..

medo, 20 Jan 2016too bad to reduce battery to 3000 mah instead of 3200 mah in note 4 it is badly quickly drai... moreClearly you never owned note5, the battery is amazing, I'm a heavy user, on note5 I've literally got more than 6-7 hours of continues usage, mostly on gaming, social media, youtube etc....so next time if you want to say something, use first, talk later.

The good, 06 Sep 2015Note 5 is not dual active ,,,,, ,, it's only stand by,,,,,,, Only Mate S is dual active LTE ... morenot sure if samsung note 5 is dual active or not, but yes there are lot of phones which are dual active, like the samsung galaxy s duos, huawei mate 7, htc one dual sim, asus zenfone 2 etc., dual active phones are also called, dual call phones

too bad to reduce battery to 3000 mah instead of 3200 mah in note 4
it is badly quickly draining , it should be at least 4000 mah
if any one faced that and have any solution hope to tell

DOWNLOAD/internet connection = this is OLD tech by norton THAT A DOWNLOAD resumes where it ends, even how you use your
phone on camera, calls and bench marks...etc..

the good thing of dual sim on one phone is that you can receive calls (at one time) on either NUMBER and the phone
identifies the caller (if you edit contacts), otherwise, you have to sync both phones many times.

= the bad thing is , two simcards are eating your battery, and you cannot receive calls simultaneously on dual sim
phone.

= FOR NOTE 5 DOUS.... if you use two sim cards.... you lost the sd card slot, and all data is saved in your phone
memory = which could be lost IF YOUR PHONE SUDDENLY DIES..!!..IF YOU USE OTG or cloud...you lost the latest data you
acquire if phone dies....besides the mess..

= what more, note 5 dous battery cannot be ordinarily replaced (hi tech people can replace it though if they have correct
tools).

Sorry for the long post. Any help would be much appreciated :)
