TheDream, 06 Jan 2016I have just purchased sm-9208 but noy getting lte option...just 2g and 3g...anyone please help... moreASK YOUR SALES MAN OR GO TO SETTINGS, MOBILE NETWORKS THEN IF you have two sim cards = click the sim with internet package and in the network mode = change to LTE/WCDMA/GSM (auto connect).
no sd card is very dangerous. if phone suddenly dies = all your data could all die with phone. also, check that the dual sim is not optional (option for sim card) = i have galaxy s5 dous with dual sim but the sd card can only be inserted to sim2 which disable simcard2 for internet or calling ( i better bought the xperia z3).
the dual sim xperia z3 has two simcard slots and one separate slot for sd card, has 3gb ram and 2.5 ghz speed and longer lasting stand by.
if you do cloud back up = its like housing your girl freind to your daddy..... anytime something could go happy. (t&c)
I wanna buy a note 5,but confused about note 5 or note 5 duos! Plz suggests me.
Battery non removable... No card slot....LG G4 is mush better than this SAMSUNG phone

IN Dual sim phone when u use SIM A for call SIM 2 Data is paused ! So it will not solve your problem !
which sim card slot has the category 9 LTE? or other models have cat 6 and cat 9? I have sm-N9208 and this phone is so fast and smooth i am enjoying the features, but I think I need more internal memory haha good thing I have an OTG flash drive.
I have a quite complex question. I currently own two sim cards. SIM card A and SIM card B.
SIM A is my main number (the one i use for calls)
SIM B I use only for data (it has 100GB data)
I have two phones at the moment, one with SIM A to make my calls and stuff, another phone for data usage (SIM B). I constantly use the hotspot feature and it's such a relief knowing that i can always receive a call on my other phone (SIM A) while i'm still using the internet off of my hotspot coming from SIM B on my other phone.
I wanted to get rid of the whole carrying two phones around thing so I considered buying the Note 5 Duos.
My question is, if I put my two SIM cards in the Note 5 Duos, and say I'm using the hotspot off of SIM B to download something, and at that very moment I receive a call on my other number (SIM A)...is my data connection gonna get cut off? Or will my hotspot/data connection remain undistrubed while I take my call?
I basically need to be using data off of one number and make/take calls off of the other number simultaneously. Is this possible with this phone? Can anyone please confirm because I asked the peeps at the store and they said that my data connection will be disconnected once I receive or make a call on my other line.
Sorry for the long post. Any help would be much appreciated :)
Big boy, 18 Dec 2015No fm radio, no sd card slot. The set is going back in time waste of approx 55k.Have you not heard of OTG? No SD Slot is better. If you need backup just plug in a microUSB OTG dongle and all will be readily backup.
And why want a radio in the fone when it is a useless feature soon. Radio will cease to be broadcast soon. Everything will be in digital streaming. Log on to the radio station website and you can listen to their music programme anytime and there is no reception issues. Pure music.
Will this phone get 4G LTE in USA?
Leslie, 22 Dec 2015Can anyone tell me did Singapore selling note 5 Duos? I need to have 2 sim phone.Go to Far East Plaza in Scotts Road. Try #02-52. The shop is Moby Shop. Enter the building and turn left immediately at the maindoor staircase and walk a few units away.
I bought my Note5 Duos N9208 there for SGD850 cash and carry.
FBC, 01 Jan 2016the IR Port is missing so I cannot use note as remote control for my domestic electronics.Infrared is a useless feature. If you so need an additional remote, get a commercially available remote that can learn and be usable for more than 25 devices, you would be happier with that as there are more functions in a full-fledge remote.
Anonymous, 04 Jan 2016I am using this phone from last 2 weeks. I have only one problem battery lasts less than my ol... moreGo to Settings switch off your NFC and Wi-Fi and Bluetooth and also the Location mode set the GPS off. Use only mobile networks and Wi-Fi for Location so the GPS is switched off. These settings powered down will save a lot of battery. The brightness of the phone also plays a role in battery consumption. Set display to 45% brightness and Check the AUTO BRIGHTNESS.

scots, 05 Jan 2016Hello,
I have purchase the Note 5 Dual SIM. My understanding is that both SIM's are active... moreThe simcard which u presently cannot send sms could possibly be the SMS Centre number not configured in your phone.
Go to SMS Settings and input the correct SMS Ctr number which is available from your telco.
I want to buy note 5 but I'm not sure whether to opt for a dual sim phone or not. Do both sims work equally well. Please advise
is this device compatible with samsung gear VR?
