Samsung Galaxy s8+ 6gb of Ram : 750€
Samsung Galaxy Note 8 6gb of Ram : 1009€
No mercy !!!!
dynamic-gsm, 23 Aug 2017it is a s8+ with pen ! samsung is still afraid after what happen to Note 7 !Exactly!!!!
What a joke.
Good work with the specs but shitty design. The design could have been a lot better. If I have an option to chose between Note 8 and a different device I would go with 1+5 until any changes made in design

Tech.Chief, 23 Aug 2017OMG!!!!! This thing is huge! Wow, what a surprise.
Well, the wide and telephoto lens combination is promising. OIS equipped with both. Nice.
Very much the same features as the Note7 like translation. No mention of how many levels of pressure sensitivity for the S Pen. Of course it's still water-resistant. Bixby is not at all impressive.
DNeighbor, 23 Aug 2017And there ya go - no answer to your theory of "A bigger battery heats up more..." Samsung deciding to use a smaller battery in the Note 8 than in the Note 7 more than proves it. Your limited knowledge of the concept doesn't stop their R&D department from understanding the risks and looking out for their customers and their target market for the Note.
You don't have to be "VALID" to know that.
It's a take it or leave it thing - No need to be all stock up or shirty about it. You want the Note 8 (and can afford it) you buy. Else you can stay with your Note 2 or go get a Blu.
Note 8 is good but outdated and no Android 8 versions will be available for it.
Tech.Chief, 23 Aug 2017There's a phone for everyone pal.And there ya go - no answer to your theory of "A bigger battery heats up more..."
Tech.Chief, 23 Aug 2017A bigger battery will heat up more while charging or discharging.
I'm certain it's a very s... moreAnd that answer with a copy-paste repetition of your previous comment is meaningless.
The only times my smartphones heat up are when I'm accessing large volumes of LTE data.
Wireless charging is only effective when the device is turned off. Rapid charging also increases the temperature to above 40 degree Celcius. I know this because I've experimented with the S7 Edge and Note7.
Regular charging is actually third longer, but the temperature stays below 35 degree Celcius. Heat is the number one enemy of batteries.
