Like it or not, physical and especially expandable storage still has a major use in the SmartPhone world; to be able to access most of your media offline.
Photos? I agree and you don't need that on a flight but movies and music? Yea...you still need that microSD card goodness.
TCool, 21 Sep 2017Care to show your SOT? I guess not.You know, if you can't back up your claims, and tell everyone that you have a miraculous half-baked Note.5 that has battery performing as good as it was 2 years ago, you are avidly trolling here.
If anyone would even analyse anyone's battery usage time, you would notice a steady slight decline as months past by, unless you aren't using it.
You will always try to claim I fake stuff up.
AS IF I can fake 189 images of screen shots of my daily battery performance fir over 2 months:

Just use Google Photos and upload all your videos and photos. All my favorite movies and episodes from my favorite TV shows is already on the cloud. My photos no longer need to be on my phone. I have access to it even with just a 32gb iPhone or Pixel. Uploading them is easy too.
Maazi, 21 Sep 2017Where are 128GB and 256 GB models?only 64 GB Variant is available.Samsung what the hell u r do... moreI agree with you, 128+256gb internals are only show them, but never ever freely in market. It's a hoax, thousands of dollars for 64 GB internal even.
The Samsung's Note, S and high-end series are an awesome investment when it comes to tools and gadgets!
I just confirmed that the Note 5 (and most Samsung high end phones from 2015) will get the Android 8 (Oreo) update
Folks should note that Xiaomi Mi Mix is still stuck on Android Marshmallow and will remain there because these other companies make phones (hardware), ship them out with the current (at the time of release) Android version and thats it.
This is one of the reasons why Samsung is different. An update (especially) a new android veraion ALWAYS makes a phone feel brand new.
TCool, 21 Sep 2017Not true. My premium 64GB Note 5 is more than two years now and still give juice like it was new.Care to show your SOT? I guess not. Even the S7 Edge we have has its battery performing 25% less after over a year.
Sorry.. don't have Infra Red for remote n low capacity battery 3300 mah, i'm not interested.. still love my Note 4.. n A9 Pro for battery capacity..
Still not good. Its a "yearly forced" update.
Need just 1 more iteration before its good.
1. Fingerprint need to be under the screen.
2. Dex Station laptop version.
And making 128GB / 256GB readily available.
