Note 8 owners should stuck to their device until Note 10. Still we dont know what Note 9 will bring, but as Note 8 user, i will not upgrade. as per renders, there is no significant change in the upcoming model
AnonD-504084, 17 Jun 2018i got a note 8 , it is working flawlessly mate... just wait a little bit more and you will see the crapy one
Robbie, 17 Jun 2018Mine still turns green, Exynos versionI also have exynos version (European version, Greece, Athens ).
Sometimes I would like to cry seeing Samsung phone.
Note 3 Batte only 3200 & Note 8 Battery only 3300.
How funny! From Note 3 to Note 8 battery differences only 100.
Its better to use Xiaomi.200% better than Samsung as far as battery is concern.
Aadrian , 14 Jun 2018I am facing this issue: when charging, the LED indicator at the front is showing the red charg... moreYes, I saw your post yesterday and I checked my phone because I've never paid attention. Indeed it doesn't turn green, remains red. I did factory reset ( to be honest I prefer to do this every 3 months ) but nothing happened. I don't know if this is caused after the latest update (security patch) or after the Oreo update.
I have a black dot on the left middle part of the screen just beside the bixby button. Is that normal or is it a screen issue???? can someone answer on how to remove it
83662196, 15 Jun 2018Um, the fingerprint scanner PLACEMENT sure as hell is NOT. My finger is on point with the fingerprint scanner. I have no problems with the placement. I really don't have so much complains about the Note8, except for a sealed battery. It's down to 90-92% efficiency, according to AccuBattery after 7 months of use.
Yes, the S Pen function is the prime reason why anyone should be getting a Galaxy Note.
IMRAN, 22 Apr 2018Note 8 vs Note FE
Best choice to buy? Both phones are great choices, arguably the best Note phones yet.
So it comes down to this:
Do you want the latest and greatest design from Samsung? Note8. Do you want the slightly better camera but can handle the awful placement of the fingerprint scanner? Note8. Do you want the larger display but can handle the 18.5:9 aspect ratio? Note8. Do you feel you may need the extra 2GB of RAM than the FEÂ’s 4GB of RAM? Note8. Do you prefer the Midnight Black, Deepsea Blue, Orchid Gray, and Maple Gold color options? Note8.
Do you prefer the more ergonomic front-mounted fingerprint scanner? Note FE. Do you prefer the traditional 16:9 aspect ratio over the 18.5:9? Note FE. Are you okay with not being able to use Samsung Pay unless you live in Malaysia or Korea? Note FE. Are you alright with having Bluetooth 4.2 instead of 5.0 like on the Note8? Note FE. Do you prefer the Blue Coral, Silver Titanium, Black Onyx, and Gold color choices? Note FE. Do you want to save some money and donÂ’t want to pay top dollar? Note FE.
Think about things like that, and then you will be able to decide for yourself from there.
IMRAN, 07 May 2018I am still confuse ? Shall I go for Samsung Galaxy S9+ or Samsung Galaxy Note 8 ? Price tag ... moreThe only reason why you would pick the Note8 is mainly because of the S pen, I cant really see any other reason. So if you are going to make good use out of the S pen then dont even think the slightest about the S9+. Not to mention that the performance is identical to both devices, and AR Emoji is garbage. If you want the better fingerprint scanner placement and better camera, then go for the S9+.
Sindroid, 20 May 2018Dont like that they just crammed a 3300mAh battery into this. Should atleast have a 4000mAH or... moreFirst of all, remember what happened with the Note7 and its 3500 mAh battery? It exploded and it was so bad the phone was banned EVERYWHERE. Part of this is because Samsung has to make an entire section JUST for the S pen, where else would they put the S pen? The S pen and the large battery is what screwed up the Note7, and Samsung is trying to keep you as the consumer safe by sacrificing battery life so your phone doesnt explode and could perhaps kill you. Samsung has to fit the S pen somewhere inside the Note8, and the only way to prevent what happened with the Note7 is to make a smaller battery.
Dipak, 22 May 2018Samsung note 8 good or oneplus 6 good please reply. OnePlus is a Chinese company, the only reason why I recommend the Note8 is because OnePlus is a very untrustworthy company when it comes to customer privacy, support, and the advertisements have always been absolutely false. And also, the Note8 sure itÂ’s more expensive, but I say the Note8 definitely is worth itÂ’s high price tag for all the things its capable of. Plus, Samsung Experience is absolutely amazing. Ever since my Samsung tablet got updated to Android Nougat, and I get to use this new UI, I could never go back to a stock android device ever again.
Khader, 27 May 2018Note 8 or one plus 6 help me plz I honestly do not recommend the OnePlus 6. OnePlus has a long history of leaking their customers information on unknown Chinese servers. Also, the OnePlus 6 has a camera that is not even as CLOSE to as good as advertised. And, probably the biggest issue with OnePlus is their absolutely horrible customer service, sure, Samsungs customer service is not the best either, but I still say just go for the Note8, just to be safe.
Samsung, if you release the Star Pink Galaxy Note8 to the US, I will automatically trade in my iPhone for the Note8, until then, I will not buy it.
Tang0N0vember, 15 Jun 2018I rarely charge all the way, however I don't have that issue when I unintentionally charged to... moreStrange, because I have the same issue on both the Note8 and the Note FE, latest version/updates.
