Must have been a long drop. I've dropped mine twice wth a Rhinoshield Crashguard bumper on. Glass surfaces still intact. I switch to my OtterBox Defender Case sometimes.
The thing is, phone cases with shallow raised lips are a no-go for me. Reason why i opted for two of the top protectors I could get, no matter how much more expensive they are compared to others.
Fragile Gorilla 5 Screen for Note 8, dropped once and the screen is cracked from the curved edge. (kindly to check similar cases on the internet)
after only one month of usage, screen is damaged !such a big disappointment its an expensive phone and you expect better quality, all previous models survived for years with
not even a single scratch on screen.
the shocking thing is that you use a Tempered glass screen protector (35$) with original Samsung Military rugged Cover(40$) and it helped nothing.
Original Screen replacement is very expensive around 350$ ! Samsung should seriously check the screen type adopted for this unique phone and test it again.there must be a way to compensate people who suffered from this offering free of charge maintenance and replacement of such fragile screen.
because of the curved screen edge, i highly recommend to use a full rugged cover for this phone and sure its not guaranteed that your phone will survive from any drop.
Kindly note that Samsung warranty does not cover cracked, scratched or broken screens.
such a big disappointment ... would appreciate any support... thanks
MirzaSohail, 02 May 2018What to choose between Samsung galaxy s9+, Samsung galaxy note 8,and this thing p20 pro, I nev... moreIt depends on your preferences but the iPhone X is a phone that is operating in a lower class, it isn't as feature packed as the other phones you mentioned and doesn't have that much functions, lacking many basic functions that a smartphone has. I can only say the Note8 is a good buy, I am using it since October last year.
MirzaSohail, 02 May 2018What to choose between Samsung galaxy s9+, Samsung galaxy note 8,and this thing p20 pro, I nev... moreThat depends if you think you will use the S-pen or not. If that feature seems like something you would use then the Note8 is the way to go. If not, the S9+ has so much to offer including a faster/newer processor, Oreo out of the box, stereo speakers and enhanced camera features. I have the Note8 and I think it's a fantastic device. It is the first Note that I've owned and enjoy using the S-pen for the Live Messages feature, translating foreign texts, creating GIFs, more accurate scrolling/texting. The camera are very good and I ported the Google Pixel camera software to have even more photo/video options. I don't know much about the P20 other than it's not available in the States which requires a 3rd party seller and questionable capability with carriers and that it is extremely expensive.
What to choose between Samsung galaxy s9+, Samsung galaxy note 8,and this thing p20 pro, I never use Huawei phones neither use iPhone although IPhone X also could be considered, but never use ios so don't know about experience,

AnonD-754570, 27 Apr 2018SAMSUNG NOTE 8 or S8 ? If you were me, which one do you think it is worth to buy?I personally only like the Note series so I'd never buy the S8. My advice, go for the Note8.
AnonD-754570, 27 Apr 2018SAMSUNG NOTE 8 or S8 ? If you were me, which one do you think it is worth to buy?''..worth to buy..'' is very relative, it all depends on your needs, on how much money you want to give and finally the price You find them (perhaps where you live there is a real bargain to grab).
S8 (or S9) are more compact, Note8 is bigger but has all the best things mobile-industry has to offer right now. For the specs you can see a lot of reviews.

Same specs but cheaper.Nope.
Taller and more area screen. More RAM. Second camera lens. S Pen tilt input. Dual Bluetooth audio output. Bluetooth 5.0. Updated processor. Bixby. Brightest screen. Better front facing camera. More accessories.
