Frankly, the Exynos has longer battery life. I love my Exynos Note8.

Exactly same storage issue. Battery since removable replaced one year back. Now I am also looking for upgrade since 3 years is ok. But again Samsung discriminate Indians or Asians by not giving Snapdragon processor but resorting to Exynos. If exynos is equally capable why not give it to US and China also. Or is it to keep the relations with Snapdragon? Mystery unsolved. Also there is no difference in price. Compared to Indian per capita income it costs a ulmost a bomb.
Hi there, need some advice. I've set up two finger prints on my device but my phone still keeps asking for the backup password. I've tried deleting and re-registering the finger prints but it's still pretty much the same.
Ever since i updated it to Android 8.0 (Android P)
My battery life increased
It feels smoother
i'am able to do more multi tasking (Whatsapp videocall)
I was thinking about trading my note8 for a IP8+ but this changed my mind :)

Advise anyone?I can confirm that only yesterday in the evening the oreo update arrived on my Note8. I downloaded and installed it right away.
The AOD has changed a little bit, but they also changed my favorite clock by a small bit...
Keep checking manually for updates everyday. I have an unlocked Note8 and I am from The Netherlands, got the update only yesterday.

I do not endorse or abide by factory reseting every time update, to new Oreo is needed or recommended by company any where on boucher or instruction on booklet or official site! It's Desi Style of formatting in a windows computer. If battery or other issue, exist! It can never go away with reseting any way. Just keep away from this until ethical practice!
the 8.0 just arrived!! thanks a lot samy!! best gift for a humble customer note series aliens performance!!
AnonD-672235, 08 Apr 2018is this update is andriod 8.0 or not ??Yes
This gadget is extremely satisfying just facing a issue it doesn5have lock and mask app option can anyone please help me if they know sol. For this issue...
The Oreo update screwed up my stable connection with the Microsoft Wireless Display Adapter. My older devices work, and it used to with my Note8 on Android 7.1.
Yes, the driver for the Microsoft device is updated. Just connects for 3 seconds, and disconnects. This is a big issue since I use my Note8 for demonstrating drawing procedures to students.
Looks like I'm flashing back to Android 7. There aren't anything I'll miss from the Note8 update.
