Use wireless charging or your glass back sounds useless.

"Wireless charging" even with "fast" is the slowest possible way to charge and generate more heat to your device. More heat means the killing your battery faster. Look it up as well.
Glass back is stupid. All glass break upon impact, even if it is chemically strengthened. You can find out by dropping your Note8 now.
Pretty useless to say it has "premium" material if it likely breaks on one drop. It is silly to be using it without a impact protection.
When my note 8 receive the oreo update ?.i am from lebanon...

I don't see the point when the wireless charger has to be plugged in somewhere.
Probably less wear & tear on the USB-c port
Matt, 20 Mar 2018Hi. Can you please give me your opinions about what you think.
I would like to buy a new phon... moreOk, you put many things on the table. You want a flagship upgrade (from lumia 640), very durable, big screen, not so much expensive, no fear to break it , :)))) , very good camera,... what else???
Note 8 has all the best things industry has to offer right now. Dont waste your money with mid - range smartphones, in my opinion is the greatest swindle out there.
TN1, 21 Mar 2018Wow. I did not know that. /SIf it is 'true' that you dont know, how could you have note8 without using the wireless charging feature?
danielle, 21 Mar 2018They use a glass back in favour to have wireless charging.Wow.
I did not know that. /S

Nothing broke when my Note8 dropped 4 ft face down. But yeah, I hate the glass back. Blame people who consider glass as "premium".
Matt, 20 Mar 2018Hi. Can you please give me your opinions about what you think. I would like to buy a new phon... moreI have an LG V20 which I call the tank. It has lots of features that are hard to find now like a changeable battery, an IR blaster, expandable memory, good cameras and a tough aluminum housing that can with stand drops with no problems. I have had mine for over a year and I still use it as my daily driver. I use it for navigation every day because my job requires me to visit clients throughout the metropolitan area as well as browsing the internet, work and personal emails, accessing my company's website, using the AI assistant with voice commands. The Note 8 with its glass back, even with a case on it, can be very fragile. That is why I only use it to use the VR headset, 360 camera or on special occasions when I want to use the zoom lens.
funwithash, 19 Mar 2018I am feeling slow charging after latest security update anyone else any solution? yes a bit BUT you switch it on and off ( the fast charging ) and then try charging phone
Hi. Can you please give me your opinions about what you think.
I would like to buy a new phone. I am deciding between Nokia 7 plus, Samsung Galaxy Note 8 or maybe something else i don't know about.
My first problem is that I am clumsy and I drop the phone about 3 to 4 times a year. And I do not like that cat phones or Xcover. So I currently have Lumia 640 LTE and since I bought it for 150€ and a rubber protection for 5 € and I just don't care about it trying to fly. So how tough it Galaxy Note 8 or Nokia 7 plus or something else?
I use my phone for calls, SMS, video calls, social media, listening to youtube while driving via bluetooth, making some notes, and it has to have a decent camera, and i would like to try buying and selling crypto on phone.
I do not like stupid apps that comes with phone. I tried Xiaomi redmi note 5 and it comes with a bunch of preinstalled apps that I cannot uninstall so I shipped it back. I also tried Huawei and it has same problem, so Chinese phones are out. Can you uninstall most of Samsung apps of Note 8?
I also have fat fingers so I kinda need big screen.
Spec wise it should be average or above. And i don't really care about price but if I pay 800eur and then 3 months later I drop it it would be better to take my family on vacation for that money. Can you guys please help?
