Even when i had an iphone and before a nokialumia i've noticed that cellular data are more ''hungry'' than wifi. Ηowever if you've just bought the device do not forget to calibrate the battery. If you have any questions about this just ask us.

AnonD-41487, 04 Jan 2018Hello Everyone...I am a new user to samsung mobile..i got this Note 8 just this week...my opin... moreIf you use the fill battery to drain (please don't do this), that would mean 11+ hours. Sounds about right if you're constantly using data than WiFi.
I'm averaging 13+ hours if I'd fully drain it, wth Bluetooth connected, some 5.5 hours of SOT. This is just surfing, video streams, and no games.
You can see that if you use more data or Screen On Time, you drain more of course:
I constantly charge it up even at 80% mark to keep the battery healthy. Short battery usage discharges, and trickle charging will keep the sealed battery last longer. Opposite is deep discharge and fast charging from low percentage to full will generate more heat which is bad for the battery.
Hello Everyone...I am a new user to samsung mobile..i got this Note 8 just this week...my opinion that its a superb mobile but my major issue that its battery doesn't last long at all.
For example..i am using my mobile data now...the mobile lost 3% in just 20 mins ,is that normal? Thank you
Please suggest me tempered glass for note 8 .i have used many but all make touch 50 percent decrease. So help me out .thanks.
Note8 is considered to be have the most features and overall favorite at this time.

It's an absolute irritation that they would actually want 5mm thicknesses, or the fact that having it thick as 10mm would give us battery capacity of around 5,000 mAh.
It's a pain that the sealed 3300 mAh battery only can give me less than half of what I actually need daily, and have to deal with topping up power with power packs and battery cases.
Thankfully the battery problems of Apple started serious dialogues about battery life cycles. It's about time some light into having high performing processors and GPU but with dismal SEALED batteries that have limited charging cycles that the average person don't care or think about.
I'm ready for our devices to go back to removable battery system whereby I can change the battery capacity to 3x.

I bet y... moreI would prefer longer use time, and this does not necessarily mean bigger battery. On the other hand, demanding more has always been the basis for breakthroughs. Thus, I cannot see why I must be satisfied and make compromise for what I do not like. But in the end, I have loved the Note line from Samsung for so long, I just hope they can make it even better.
AnonD-321976, 01 Jan 2018I think this the best case by far for note 8. Looks stunning by looks and protection chk this ... moreNope. Absolutely the worst looking case on a Note8! Tacky prism things? Glitters on the TPU body case iteself?! Very attention grabbing. It very offensive to the eyes. Just no.
Yeah, taste is yours.

I've read what Oreo is about. It's mostly the look of the icons, notification settings the Note8 has, floating video screen we can already do, background apps limiter that already we can do, Google certifying safe apps to be installed we already experience, remote control and finding your lost phone we can already do, access/permission controls we already can do, smart text selection we can do more with the S Pen, contextual apps to what you're sharing we can already do, ambient display for notifications which we already have with a notification light, auto-fill for sites which we already can do, Bluetooth 5.0 we already use, multi-display mode which obviously we already can do, mouse pointer which we can already do, and changing fonts we already have,
The only things I find not with the Note8 yet are quicker access with Dots, Project Treble, LDAC, Android Instant Apps, Wi-Fi Aware, and shorter boot times. We'll get those, but it's nothing to be going angry about.
Basically it improves the Android going forward, but a lot of it has been with Samsung's top tier smartphones before Google made updates. It took them a while till split screen was implemented. This is a reason why I'm impressed the top Galaxy phones and are different from the rest of Android. Google phones don't have S Pen.
