Please can someone tell me what "total hits" (60%)written above the Ram status means? Is it number of the phone sales or visited people in the phone page?

The front hard rubber-like piece fibre my Zerolemon battery case. Now it has upper reinforcement and display protection from impact on uneven surfaces. The glass is full adhesive and comes to the edge of the front part with a fractions of a millimeter gap.
Now I have better confidence in using it with a battery case.
Anyone help! Please can someone help me choose the right screen protector/do Samsung sell their own thanks.

1.5mm on each of the curved screen is not covered by the flat glass and it's fine.
The purpose of the glass is to really shatter upon impact. We expect that. I don't want to pay some $300 for a shattered display replacement.

Don't get me wrong, It's best phone I've had for sure, but it's not perfect by mile. I do change phones twice per year or so, so I've had many, note 8 is best overall, but battery lets it down big time.
How come most of people here complain about fragible screen and bad battery? I mean I don't personally have Note 8 but I doubt it can really be that bad. I have S8 and it's awesome, also I think this might just be my experience, but comments on S8 are much more positive. Even though, because of second camera, stylus and 2GB of extra RAM - yeah I still think Note 8 is better. But also not for me, since I have small hands and pockets.
Also, lots of people are complaining about S8+ being fragile... could it be that bigger phones crack more easily? If glass is equally thick on all 3 phones, and bigger phone means it has bigger mass... and other physics laws... it does make sense...

Then I dropped the phone from my bed to a wood floor, protector shattered. Replaced with another - all fine.
About a week ago I decided to replace the protector as it has a hairline crack. Bought a couple of cheap £4 ones ago but I cannot for the life of me to get them to sit nice on the screen.
They look fine, no air bubbles at all but when I touch the screen, the protector flexes. It's like using an old resistive screen from my N97 or something.
I currently using the screen naked but will try my luck again with some cheap tempered glass protectors.

It certainly won't win any awards for battery life though.

It has a rubberized piece covering the top and bottom parts. The back cover is meh. This can be perfect to combine with my Zerolemon 10k mAh battery case. I hat to think that extra battery weight will not be a welcomed thing if it's dropped face down. I'll combine the once I get home and show you pictures.
What's the most important is that I get a glass with full adhesive - not something that OtterBox is offering with only a perimeter adhesive and charging 4 times the cost for just the glass.
I'll be drawing with the glass on, and see if there's a big hindrance. The thought of breaking the actual screen and having to pay some $300 for a repair-replacement is more painful than paying $10 for some prevention measures.
TheNeighbor, 15 Dec 2017What was your case? Did it have raised lips?I have a superb Spigen case, it's protected the parts it covers, but lips wise, it only has them at the top and bottom, but in this case, the phone screen impacted with stones and lumps on the concrete, so even larger lips would not have helped.
I don't like screen protectors, they ruin the phone, in particular the ones for curved screens.
i wish we could go back to flat screens!
Am not looking forward to getting a quote for the repair, but plan to sell the note after getting it fixed and go back to having a basic phone and get an ipad pro instead for my creative thinking needs. one does not drop an ipad!
Been using note 8 for quite few months now.
I like its big screen, s pen and all that, but honestly the battery its rubbish and I mean absolutely rubbish, while I write this review 4% drops lol Battery it's embarrassing on this phone!
Also very glitchy apps specially facebook, it's just there is no smoothness, but maybe it's not the phone, its android in general I don't know. But yeah, I do love it, but battery and glitchy apps lets it down. Oh yeah, camera on it it's superb, Ive done crazy cool shots on my holidays with it.
Well this phone is a piece of shit in beautiful package.. The screen is very very
frangible.. My display broke into a poket! Warrantly was dennayed!

My new £860 Note8 flew out of my hand and landed hard on rough congrete on it's unprotected screen, bouncing once and landing on it's cased back.
The screen has three impact areas and multiple cracks extending bottom to top.
The cost to repair it will no doubt be substantial.
Realist, 13 Dec 2017The only reason I didn't buy this is the stupid curved screen edges. Its a personal choice i bought note for the first time because of curved screen
AnonD-714663, 14 Dec 2017Should we use screen protected or not on our Note8 . If we dont use any type of screen guard o... moreI got the OtterBox Defender right away. It has the most raised top and bottom edges that keep the front glass about 2 to 3 mm from a flat surface, plus it's a combination of hard plastic and rubber surface. This provides ample structural and distance from impact and so I don't see the need to have a glass protector that adds distance to my S Pen input for my sketching needs.
The disadvantages of glass protectors is it might not fit the case you are using. There are case-friendly glass protectors that are shortened on the sides to provide space from the case edges - however, dust will accumulate in-between case and glass protector.
Clarity will be slightly reduced as well.
Fingerprints will stick more to the glass protector than the actual screen as it will not likely be treated.
All glass protectors (except Whitestone Glass Dome which has full screen adhesive) only have adhesive on the edges, and therefore have air space between the actual screen. There will be an annoying flex and clicking when you press some areas. The adhesive will only work after sometime, and they start lifting up from the screen - I've seen this happen.
Scratches can be avoided by not placing your device with other in your pocket. I had the Note 3 for 4 years without scratches that I can see.
The official flip clear cover case seems to be a logical choice. I just wish it had a magnetic clasp to keep it closed.
