Checking my Note8's fingerprint scanner - no scratches after 3 months of daily use. Even with just the Rhinoshield crashguard bumper for two weeks now. Only a fool will scratch test it - yes, it's not glass. And no, you're not supposed to put the Note8 with your keys in the same pocket.
The guy didn't even show those supposed scratches he acquired from a cleaning cloth. He just posted this yesterday? Such a lame review which doesn't even highlight what makes the Note8 different from the rest.
I do not if its true but this video says finger print scanner scratches very easily..does anyone have these issues. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rk8jRixLmvc
AnonD-41487, 31 Dec 2017Any response? Note8 has the S Pen for notes and drawing.

Have a nice day
See Asus has pushed Oreo update for Zenfone series today. A1 is about to receive Oreo. Such a costly phone Note8 there is no word regarding Oreo update. What a pathetic customers we are...
Perfect phone bar the fingerprint scanner position. Samsung, listen when we talk. Your market share would've been way more than what you have if you'd listened when the S8 came out.
Drop the FP scanner down to the middle of the back or a little above the middle. It would've made a lot more sense and it would also have sold more. I hope you won't stay the current FP scanner setup with S9
Alert! When ever you reached zero on charge, it will not start or charge Bricked! Be on guard never let it happen, you will lose 1000$ device. We must have a consensus on how many have this problem, must exchange experience and aftermath. Most Urgent!
AnonD-726811, 30 Dec 2017People Saying because they have an issue. their devices resembling like cheap Chinese phones. ... moreAgain, it's not an issue. Hold a Note8 and use it in the dark. It's nothing.
Only silly people go use a Note8 with full brightness in the dark, and view the screen at 20° obtuse angle to see this so-called light bleed. It also means you DON'T use a case to expose this light refraction from the glass edge... It is so stupid for people to even complain about it. It is so faint!
Obviously you don't own a Note8.
yeah right , 30 Dec 2017yeah i agree why pepole say there screen bleeds my has not bled 1People Saying because they have an issue. their devices resembling like cheap Chinese phones. Answer of why = just search on google (Note 8 Light leakage or bleeding) and read, hope you will understand why people complaining about it.
AnonD-724120, 30 Dec 2017Its a Samsung, for them Quality is a compromise. Light leakage is a real issue, In faulty devices it is visible enough. light leakage can be seen easily i.e left part and upper part of the front camera. if it is not light leakage and it is spreading or illumination of light because of curved screen then it should be spread or illuminate from all sides but fact is that this light leakage is not because of curved screen. it is because of poorly manufactured NOTE 8

It would mean that this "issue" existed since the first curved display. You have to be in a pitch black environment just to see it at an awkward angle.
This thing also happens to the edges of a glass protector. It's a stupid "issue" that these non-Note users are complaining about.
My Note8 has this so called light bleeding. It is noticeable in pitch dark situations with the screen brightness turned on at the full 100%. My eyes are blinded in that case and therefore I will never use the phone on full brightness in the dark. When in the dark, my eyes prefer a very low brightness to comfortably look at the screen. Now I do not know how others use their phone in dark circumstances, but in my case I do not even notice it at all. And to be honest I could not care less. My Note FE has the same, by the way.
ducle2502, 27 Dec 2017The Note 8 is absolutely attractive ... in design. What turned me down when I picked it up was... moreThe thickness of a phone is the last thing I look for. Stop being so high maintenance. I bet you want a bigger battery in that thin body too?!
