EvilG, 18 Oct 2017You must be kidding, right? No, that is what I found. I hope Samsung adds these features.

I said whenever you are not using it, instead of putting down on the table or somewhere else without charging, why not put it on the wireless charging pad. That way, you will always have full charged battery by the time you are about to use it. Convenient rather than make it bulky and heavy with the battery case.
I have Note 8 and mate 8. What note 8 cant do is: double click vol. button to click pic. from sleep mode, phone starts from off to sound clock alarm, shows calories burnt, wifi signal strength on home screen/ notification bar, double tap to capture screenshot, never froze for 2 years, note8 cant open some large pdf's, freezes, and curved screen makes sketching at edges difficult, fingerprint sensor is faster on mate 8- no need to fumble, and wifi reception much better. In Gallery, no option in dropdown menu to rename and advance edit pic. in any app of your choice directly on Note8. And much much more. Oh, and web pages opening and games loading time is faster on Mate8.
Only thing better in Note8 is the camera apart from getting s-pen.
Hope Samsung adds these features in next update
Only Black and Silver Grey available throughout world, Sea Blue is a farce, maybe launch later when market slow. Warranty plus Insurance is 1045$° Obnoxious! If we don't protest, by 2020 same N11 would be 5000$°

Even the phone have a beautiful back, it will be useless because you are going to cover it with an ugly cover.
So what is the benefit of a beautiful back? LOL!
AnonD-218710, 17 Oct 2017Hurrah! First slash of 100$ n prices? By new year I anticipate below 500$ same exact as today'... moreYeah iPhone price is very expensive for a long period of time, not giving a chance to customers who cannot afford its high price to the end. That's selfish.
Samsung gives you the chance to afford the price and have a decent phone in a few months. Not selfish.
Two weeks after getting the Note8, I find the battery as regular. It means I can get by up to 5+ hours of Screen On Time via WiFi, however 4+ hours SOT if I'm on LTE. This is when if I use it till it reaches 15 to 20% left. But I don't do deep drains.
Based on my Gsam Battery Pro, my average usage stretch is about a projected 12+ hours per full charge. A charge is always needed before night falls. I'm reduced to attaching a thin 4000 mAh magnetic power bank when I need to. I can charge conveniently at 2A that's fast enough. Always to charge at around 60%. It's a pain.
I'm getting about 70% more from the small power bank. Meaning it guarantees me enough with about 30% to 40% left when i get home.
Zerolemon just came out with a 10,000 mAh battery case. I'd get that once available in my area.
Hurrah! First slash of 100$ n prices? By new year I anticipate below 500$ same exact as today's. Please be aware just wait, It is not iPhone, prices never fall above 2 years. It's Sammy, they cannot keep their house in order, nervous customers and stockists. IPhone is hard cash easily convertable!
- it does not heat (high performance mode on, charging, play games like Summoners War and Pokemon Go, and using case)
- stylus works VERY well and it works when the screen is off
- there is a good screen
- back is ugly
- digital print does not work so good as iPhones and Pixel and Nexus, but I believe it is just software and in a next update it'll

And you pay 900$ that cannot last you the whole day? Lower end phones do better with battery life.
Front/back glass (Gorilla Glass 5) & aluminum frame
where is that aluminum frame I dont see it ?
Anonymous, 16 Oct 2017Forget expect. My wireless charger gets hot all the time! You telling us it does not is BS.That is because you are charging your phone when it goes down to 20%.
Even with wired charging it will surely gets hot when you charge it with drained battery.
Don't abuse your phone, feed it always.

EugeneOnTheEdge, 17 Oct 2017I know I know, but my point was that you don't have wireless charging all the time. Let's say ... moreDon't let emergency caught you unprepared, always put your phone on a wireless charging pad whenever you are not using it.
Instead of putting down your phone on a table when not in use without charging, why not put it on a wireless charging pad to have a 100% fully charged battery by the time you are going to use it?
EugeneOnTheEdge, 17 Oct 2017I know I know, but my point was that you don't have wireless charging all the time. Let's say ... moreYou just went out for a while and when you got home your phone got low on juice.
That means when you get out, your phone battery charge was already less than 50%.
Which also means that your phone was loosing juice all the time even when not in use.
If it is lying on a wireless charger while not in use, your phone battery will be 100% full before you go out and when you return home you will still have enough juice to be full charge until you need to go again.
Don't make life complicated.
TCool, 16 Oct 2017That is why there is also a wireless charger convertible.
Instead of putting down your phone ... moreI know I know, but my point was that you don't have wireless charging all the time. Let's say you just went out for a while and when you got home, your phone got low on juice. I should also add that you would have to go out again in an hour (say, for another hang-out time).
In that case, I wouldn't want to wirelessly charge my phone because it's slow. I would need a lot of juice in a short time, so wired-charging is the way to go.
As I previously mentioned, whenever you don't depend on time factor, wireless charging always rules (well, unless you wanna use it while it's charging, which isn't good for the battery). However, in an emergency where I need a lot of charge in a short amount of time, I would always prefer wired-charging.
