kiki, 03 Dec 2017Should I buy note 8 or wait for s9/note9 .. in this point of time It depends on you!
Selecting a product, the user have its own choice.
But if i were u i would buy the S8N first,if S9 came out,u can just trade in and add some cash into it and done. Now days most of the shop will accept the latest phone as a second hand anyway.
Good luck anyway

AnonD-18025, 03 Dec 2017True. Without the IR blaster, this phone is too much expensive for $1000++. Cheaper phones wi... moreWhat are talking about? Serously? Cheaper phones are better? Where do you live? The IR blaster is the MOST important and vital feature of a phone? Cheaper phones have better cameras? Are you insane? You really show your contempt for not having a true flagsip phone, that's it, plain and simple
Got an update on my phone.. Battery seems to be affected by it.. Draining more after the update.. Always happens, when you buy the phone its in its best condition... Better not to update ever... The minute you update, it slows down and has some or the other problem..
While I find the default S Pen of the Note8 to be sufficient for quick jotting notes and brief sketches, the thin profile will not do for longer time use.
So, I carry an extra S Pen(s) which are thicker and heavier for a more natural pen experience while drawing or writing. I highly recommend the Tab S3's S Pen if you are into using the Note8 as your go-to notebook or sketchbook.
Since I had the Note 1's special S Pen adapter that makes it with a girth like a heavy fountain pen, I grinded the edges of my old S Pen of the Note7 to fit it in. Presto, I have something calibrated with the Note8:
The tip of the current S Pen is the smallest, and pin- point accurate. I can't help but he in gratitude for having a precise tool like this integrated onto a smartphone with a big screen. Hence, the original concept of the Galaxy Note - a productive tool.
Even though I still use actual sketchbooks for my drawings, I think what the Galaxy Note smartphone is the direction of what future notebooks/sketchbooks will be. The extra RAM for drawing apps helps a lot, especially now you can go as much as 10,000 x 10,000 resolutions. This is the main reason why I only bother with a Galaxy Note smartphone. Or else I'd be satisfied wth an ordinary smartphone.
Fm radio or infrared ARE NOT key features, who really buys a note8 , couldn't care less about them, that is why they are no longer inplemented
AnonD-719961, 03 Dec 2017Missing key features, FM and infrared.True. Without the IR blaster, this phone is too much expensive for $1000++.
Cheaper phones with IR blaster have the same camera quality and even better camera shot at low light bokeh effect.
Halflifekiss, 04 Jan 2017Note has to be unique. Time to upgrade the features. My expectation level. 20Megapixel dual... moreyour specs are great... get ready to shell out $1600 - $2000 for the same... O.o"
