Anonymous, 05 Oct 2017Face unlock is the least secure...Any proof?
If only it wasn't for what happened last year, the battery life would last way longer.
The.Neighbor, 05 Oct 2017Face unlock is not secure.Yea I agree with you! If youÂ’re not looking at your device and still it unlocks! Even If your eyes are closed! Iris is way better!

TCool, 05 Oct 2017Face unlock is the most secure of all!Yes, you keep using it. It's very safe.
Imperator Neubaticus, 05 Oct 20175 hours sounds about right. 5 hours is fair enough because you will not use your phone for 5 hours continuously.
All in all it will survive the 12 hours before charging it again.
Charging it when not using will add more duration for the rest of the day.
Don't wait for the battery to get 20% before charging. You can charge it anytime.

Ill use the face recognition system more throughout the next few days to compare it with the iris scanner on different scenarios.

Maybe you will not go back to iris scanner after that. LOL!
Oh and i almost forgot. The iris scanner is perhaps the best thing about this phone second to the s pen. It unlocks the phone so quickly it's amazing! I can't go back to the fingerprint scanner now.
After a week using this phone, i can conclude that the battery life is more than good enough to last 24 hours on average/moderate use. This is provided that the aod is turned off and the brightness set at 35-40%. I use QHD because FHD just doesn't sit well with me. I use the phone to send messages, make phone calls, browse the net, watch youtube videos, play graphics intensive games like megapolis, real racing 3, and sky force reloaded. I do admit that with the same usage, i got better hours with the ill fated note7.
Battery life aside, this thing is amazing! Smoothest samsung phone i've ever used. Everything is snappy and multitasking is a breeze. I feel like this phone is an iphone with how the interface is buttery smooth.
Camera is incredible. Nuff said. The bokeh effect could use a bit more work to make the blurs more seamless but otherwise, taking stills is excellent. Front cam video recording is great, but with slight focus inconsistencies. Low light snaps are likewise great.
S pen is just as useful as ever but i find myself using it less than i did with the note7. But thats probably because the ui is much more refined now.
The display is the most beautiful ever on a smartphone. Love the look of the note8 overall. Although some prefer the s8+ design, i don't.
And i must say, the akg s30 bluetooth speaker that came bundled with the preordered unit is bose level. It's that good.
