Aseer, 18 Sep 2017You R jockingwhat? what's jocking lmao.
Serious side, Note 8 is an amazing device and so does Note 5. There are a lot of hardware and software updates from the Note 5 to the Note 8, but some might find this extra new features are necessary for the upgrade. If you're an illustrator and you love to draw, upgrading a Note 8 is a great choice, the S pen is much improved in terms of accuracy and sensitivity, but if you only use the S pen to sign documents or take general notes and whatnot, Note 5's S pen still do justice.
Design wise, Note 8's screen is hands-down superb. Note 5's all glass design without the curved screen is still nice too. The only drawback to the Note 5 that's not nice is the non-expandable storage. Other than that, Note 5 is still a very solid device.
V, 29 Aug 2017Note 8 is overpriced. Mate 10 would be my next phone.Even Mate 9 is superior
khsharpe, 19 Sep 2017hi, I'm not sure I understand your Q about screen rotation? Can you explain? thanksYes hi I am asking because I am planning to purchase this phone does the home screen of this phone rotates in landscape?
TCool, 18 Sep 2017Yes by using third party app.hi, I'm not sure I understand your Q about screen rotation? Can you explain?
TCool, 18 Sep 2017No proof that wireless fast charging is going to contribute to battery degradation.
Even Ap... moreThat's the funny part - Apple has jumped in to make batteries not last longer so they can sell more and service more battery related problems. Heat is the number one enemy of batteries, and wireless charging contribute to the battery degradation.

TCool, 18 Sep 2017Yes by using third party app.Is the app built in on the phone or located at the settings?
Braveheart67, 18 Sep 2017Yes I find the battery was so good as it took so long b4 recharge impressive design from Samsung. Good sharing the truth about its battery charge durance.

Even Apple is now adapting wireless charging with their latest iPhone.

Instead, a good power case like Zerolemon is what will keep your Note8 juiced up for the day... with NO WIRES.
LOL! Your first statement seems to contradict the second.
Volca, 18 Sep 2017If I have a note 5, I wouldn't change to Note8 honestly. Note 5 is good enough.You R jocking
I got this phone a week now... I thought the battery life bad but I was wrong battery life is last whole day... then if you turn the location and turn it when need it then battery last long time...I'm very happy
I got one today and claim free Dex station look nice phone and still lots to do to bring apps back on.. I got is midnight black with protect cover case.. display seem so good so will tell you later once I check all the features etc.
I will not even attempt to do any wireless charging nor fast charging - it's going to contribute to battery degradation with more heat and stress to the battery. Instead, a good power case like Zerolemon is what will keep my Note8 juiced up for the day... with NO WIRES, with very minimum side bezel, and a bit of a front lip against falls.
Other manufacturers like Mophie, Belkin will come out with their versions. I'd advise Note8 users not to even get the official wireless Samsung Backpack charger with some 3100 mAh capacity - it's a waste of money since it can only give you 50% of charge in 3 HOURS of charging time. I had the free backpack charger with the Note7 before, and after testing the charge time ONCE, I sold it right away.
KnashKyrone, 18 Sep 2017Note8 users, can your phone's home screen rotate? Yes or NoYes by using third party app.

I can charge it wirelessly, no need to bring bulky extra batteries.
No need to drain the battery, just charge it when it goes down to 60% remaining anytime anywhere. I got fast wireless chargers at home, in car and in the office.
