waiting to get my charger for it - i will flash it with android 9 too. i heard it go all the way up to android 14 with lineage os, but it was best to stick with android 9 or 8. it's still a very useful tablet

Reflashed with Android 9 via LineageOS, the tablet is still useful, but having a Exynos 4 with 32-bit cores shows its age. Honestly, quite surprising you can still juice out some usefullness from a 12 yo tablet using a CPU from 2009.

Been trying to repurpose it as a 2nd screen for my pc, but it's too slow. I just use it for some web browsing. Someday it will just end in a dumpster.

For anyone willing to update this tablet, U could costum ROM it with android 9 and will be usable for basic tasks. Typinbg this on my note 10.1 with android 9 btw

It is still possible to use this tablet to this day. However it is very slow and not worth it today anymore IMO. Last version I had in 2022 was Android 4.1.2. Not sure if it actually has updates to 4.4.2 today. I had it through 2012-2022. I had battery issues after dropping it and it was difficult to fix in 2019. It has dual battery on the back.

This is the best tablet to exist. It lasted me 12 years. With android 7 costum rom, it is still usablke fir everyday tasks such as social media(1080p), studying, listening to music, geforce now, and even some light gaming such as roblox.
Really impressive for a 12 year old tablet.

HariT, 18 Jan 2023Is it usable? cause my recent tab A7 is dead slow with android pie It depends, there's not much you'll be able to do with the OEM software on it, as most apps no longer support an operating system of that age. If you have the patience, you can upgrade the software to LineageOS, the lastest full release of which is Android 12 based. It's not always the smoothest experience, but it makes a tablet of this age pretty useful.
