It gives it new TouchWiz UI and new OS. It is so much smoother and better, already available on Samsung GALAXY Tab 7.7 coming to 8.9 and 10.1 soon.

The specs need an update since Samsung have upgraded it to 2GB RAM and a quad core processor. Can't wait to get my hands on this elegant beast!
