I updated my N8000 to KK , hoping new features and improved UI.
Guess what , it did not look like an upgrade , it is a DOWNGRADE
Sammy has made this KK update for the sake of giving the update.
Multiwindow is screwed up with limiting to open only 2 windows at a time.
Pull down the Notiifcation bar and you can see the quality of the update.The icons choosen are worst possible icons and the bar fills the whole screen making the screen look ugly.
Only if you want to boast to ur freinds that I have KK on my Note 8000 , then go for this update.
Otherwise NO.

SamsungThe Samsung note 10.1 N8000 is nothing more than a child's toy with poor software .If outside of wifi and using the sim card expect that it will take for ever to surf the web and it will constant bother you with a pop up screen that it can't make a connection even if you have allready a connetion to the webThe s pen can only be used in the s pen compartmentYou can not copy and paste any thing from the s pen compartment.In the s pen compartment you can only import things one by one. My Samsung was in repair 3 times for random switching off

Anyone wondering whether to upgrade or not, please dont!!!
4.4.2 is a downgrade. Gains no new functionality n loses many much needed functionalities.
Like app install on sd card, file manager suppirt for ext sd, . Multi user system is buggy n corrupts the app data. Overall this update is a trap, don't fall for it guys. Regretting my decision to upgrade now.

I got this a year back ago. It has an update to KitKat 4.4.2. My galaxy note 800 is running on KitKat and the package is around 800 MB. Hope they give android L update.

Easiest way to do a screenshot. Hold the Power button and Volume down at the same time.

Just use your stylus, press hold button of the stylus and touch the screen using stylus it will take screenshot

Hello im from iran nearly to pakistan I updated it to kitkat yes the air view dosent work on some apps like chrome .... but it has big bad problem the ART replaced dalvik and many apps force close my rom is from germany and I flashed it because there isnt any middle east rom yet.

after upgrading to kitkat the air view feature in the default video app does not work.....is someone else also experiencing the same problem?????

From Pakistan, has somebody updated to kitkat 4.4.2, when will be ur turn,Mena region where from confirm, but make guessing, Now when It is outdated, no fun updating, except last breadth, Technology is moving too fast, as one model takes one quarter to, become obsolete.

I've just upgrade to kit kat, lags is just like anywhere. I could not save what I amend in SD card. Probably from the apps itself or other things. Lost the widget video afetr upgrading it...still exploring and find out why.

I haven't decided whether to upgrade to kit kat or remain with jellybean. Looks like the new version lacks of many features. I need to look for more reviews before upgrading
