why s3 & note2 (2012 devices) have reseved 4.3 update and note 10.1 and note 8.0 still not??? if I won't reswve the update I will sell my device and I will not buy a samsung tablet again ,
Go and write that or your opinion on the samsung site , We Should Have the 4.3 Update , as soon as s3 & note2 may have 4.4 KitKat too http://www.samsung.com/us/article/galaxy-note-10-1-update#RAT_M02

It is a good tablet with good apps like photoshop touch and s note.Also a wonderful battery it almost stays for 40 hours, but the s pen needs some improvement but now there is the galaxy note 10.1 2014 edition,also it has little bit low preformence

Note N8000 doesn't have user replaceable battery option, is it a thing for concern? Since its a costly device i would like it to serve me well for at least 3-4 years.
How is the writing experience on this device, is it as natural as a pen and a paper? does your handwriting look exactly like when you write it on the paper? since I write very fast and use small cursive letters, will it be compatible with my writing? Does it lag? are there any apps to take really extensive notes and merge smaller notes into a single note file n then export it to my pc as pdf?
Do you own Note 2 as well?

first you are comparing tablet with a phablet. phablet are good as in hand and you cant take it any where, like you cant carry tab with you.
N8000 - great for taking notes, music, videos great, camera simply disgusting.
Note 2 - great usability cam great and all video, music, etc
but if your priority is taking notes and editing pdfs, and using it as a notebook as you are student, i recommend tab, coz on big screen its very helping
but if you priorities music, videos, pics, cam etc then note2.

I brought my note 10.1 last june 2013,and yesterday I charge it while it has 15% battery life I left it 15 minutes and when I return to check it,it was totally dead I cannot turn it on.. I brought it to the repair shop and the technician told me it was software problem due to lots of downloading and internet usage..

I have galaxy note 10.1, i don't think the problem, when i upgrade to jelly bean the os the charging was very slow, what do you think the problem? Maybe on upgrade or the charger? It is possible could be affect when i upgrade? Please help me someone.

My note 10.1 N8000 got stolen :( at my workplace. I had registered it against my samsung account, and had avg and avast on (unfortunately free versions). However, since the loss, I have been unable to trace it online on either one of the services. Should I have any hope of ever finding it? Is there something one can do to the tablet to completely erase whatever samsung uses to trace it?

Hello, I am a medical student and want to buy galaxy note for the purpose of taking class notes and store them conveniently.Please answer few of my questions, it wud be a great help. 1)Which is better for taking notes; galaxy note 2 or galaxy note 10.1 N8000 ?
2) Can i rest my palm on Note 2 screen while writing?
Is there any app to take really extensive notes over many pages at fast speed? Also is there any app to
merge many small notes into single note file? How can i convert my notes into pdf file?
3) Can i edit pdf documents and use it on my notes?
4)How is the performance of the two models with respect to to other things, viz music, video, camera. internet, gaming overall performance etc?
If you can't answer the whole thing, even a small part wud be of immense help. Plz help me guyz, i need to buy it urgently.
